- FOX 13 News Meteorologist Valerie Mills says there's a 90% chance that Invest 98L will become our next named storm in the next seven days. According to Mills, areas around the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the Leeward Islands will potentially be seeing impacts early this week.

Valerie Mills is actually too good at her job. I got mad the first time I saw her because I was trying to get last minute hurricane news back in June, panicking a little because I'm right in the path and suddenly in charge of my two nieces and one nephew. Then this supermodel pops up delivering news like an award-winning actress and I didn't believe it was a real weather report. Her videos kept getting suggested the next 3-4 days before I Googled the name and found out these were legit videos.
I felt like an idiot, but I'm a new "mom" out of nowhere and really just needed a reliable weather report for this hurricane season. Better to be safe than sorry...or is it, live and learn? Probably a little of both. Anyway, enjoy her reports Tampa area before she becomes famous. Very reliable reporting in quick concise videos
