I think Tom is really off kilter on this one. I am absolutely loving the Ghost Max, lots of cushion but not too much sink. It rolls along really nicely and doesn't feel heavy at all. It is also nice and stable with the wide base, small guide rails, and nice heal counter. I'm not sure why they used the Ghost name, no real similarities. To each their own! Edit: Brooks why is this shoe not gusseted ahhhhh lol!!!
Overall, a WIN for Asics Gel Nimbus! BUT gotta Love Kieron ... always happy to wear a firmer lighter shoe for big long runs. Whether its the Saucony Speed 3 for the Danube run or popping on the Elite (by same company) for Ultra's... Tom would not find that, "enjoyable"!
Got myself a pair of Nimbus 25 a couple weeks ago. The only issue I have is the white colorway I chose, looks awesome but difficult in autumn/winter 😅 what for me is a long run (18k+), it is just super comfortable and also let's me pick up the pace a bit (HM speed). Definitely a fan of the shoe!
I have the Nimbus and it is really comfortable. However, for next year, I will likely just go with the Novablast for longer, easier runs. It is max cushioned but lighter and more versatile than either of these.
Thank you so much for this amazing video. I first tried ghost max then returned it for nimbus 25. And i have to say i would definitely recommend nimbus 25 for being more max cushioned shoe. Again thank you so much for this video
Nice reviews. I agree that the ghost max is very nice, but it made me feel more pressure in my knees. I tried the nimbus despite the reviews from people saying it was an energy sucker, and I'm really glad that I did try it for myself because I don't notice that to be an issue; for me, the nimbus seems perfect. 👍
Many thanks for the review as I had a pair of Ghost Max for Christmas butty thanks are for the Asics as I had no idea they made a shoe for a wider foot.... I like a wide toe box which is why I've used Brooks Ghost for so long.... I might expand and try a pair of Asics too
Lol I like how Nick and Kieran picked different favorites because of perceived foam responsiveness. Does sinking into a foam really mean more bounce back as well? Or does it just mean soggy?? This is the great disagreement haha
I sold my Nimbus 25 after a 100km. There is no response in the midsole to me, no doubt very comfortable though. I really like the Invincible 2 but the ver. 3 has massive heel slippage issue. Will the Max feels the same like the Nimbus 25?
I found the glideride much more cushioned than the ghost max but they do have similar rocker. I would look into the Clifton for nice cushioned ride with a Rocker

I’ve used both. The Nimbus is almost too soft for me. The Ghost Max is great, but the lower drop has made my Achilles less than happy. 😢

OK do split verdict ! I have Nimbus a steady run but i Love the Normal ghost! So maybe get Max Ghost!😂
I always thought the Nimbus’ counterpart on the Brooks line was the Glycerin? Shouldn’t this be the Ghost Max vs the new Cumulus instead?

Hey guys, how does the Ghost Max stack up against The Glycerin 20?

I actually liked the ghost max but I had to return it because the sizing was off big time
Too small?
@@letitbleep2683 too big
I'd love to know what's on Nick's ceiling that he finds so fascinating!🤔🤣❤

Is the Glycerine 21 better than the Nimbus 25
Nick what is your favourite recovery and daliy shoes
So the Ghost Max is a good replacement for the possibly discontinued Asics glideride 3?

Disappointment the ghost max a lot of wear in a short time of use and too expensive nimbus 25 is better
