I saw them live a few weeks before they made it big in a nightclub in Liverpool. The main club was playing crap music but had other rooms where bands were playing so I went in there and found these guys playing. Great gig

A rare case where I actually liked a song specifically because of the music video. This used to be on UK music video channels all the time, and there was always a 'must watch', hypnotic quality about the slightly surreal mix of imagery here and how well the movements through the scenes carry on from each other and match the beats. To this day, I'm not entirely sure what it's about, but that's part of what kept me watching.

I was about 15 when this band first burst into the charts in the UK in 2004. At the time there wasn't a lot of open, positive LGBTQI+ representation in the mainstream media (if there was, it was hard for me to find because I don't think RUclips existed until I was 16)...so for someone like me who lived in a rural area, they helped me through a lot of stuff when I was being beaten up at school by the homophobes. I still listen to them now and again! They'll always have a place in my heart, just like they do for many of you listening right now, I'm sure!

You're kidding? There was loads. Corrie, Eastenders, Emmerdale even was full of it. Queer as Folk was out, there was fcking tons, it was everywhere. Massively overrepresented, considering the prevalence IRL. A victim mentality is not good. Just google "LGBT rock stars 90s, noughties if you don't believe me. Stop telling yourself you're oppressed, it's a lie.

I remember my sister played this song to me when I was like 7 years old on her CD player. (back then that was the gadget lol) I didnt know what he was singing about only the fact that it had my Name in it and had a good beat. Great song thanks for popping up in my feed. I love being called Laura 🥰

I needed this, the comedic side of all there work really shines through and until today i havent really delved into all of there stuff other then the main pop successes ten years ago on the charts you know, but i'm glad today i looked deeper after a decade of being too late and found theres alot more fun interesting stuff they have, it seems deceptively versatile, i'm writing songs with there stuff and The Doors on in the background and realize theres alot more to these guys than being creators of merely party tunes. World could use a little more fun in it right about now.

I consider myself 90% straight but ever since I was 14 I have always considered Ana as the most beautiful creature ever. She was was my first ever female teenage crush! I'm nearly 22 now and I still think that she is absolutely beautiful inside and out.
