Yeah it happens sometimes my own father with a great voice died at 86 yrs in ‘19 and STILL had vocal talent too(!) which I was more than a little impressed about 😃
I turn 66 in March. Back in the early to mid 1970’s my maternal grandmother was the same age I am now. I was extremely close to her. I spoke with her multiple times a day even throughout high school. She was a strong, wonderful woman, but very religious. She never cursed and never drank a drop of liquor until she was in her mid 80’s and went to Europe to celebrate after having both her hips and knees surgically replaced! She had ONE glass of wine in France to celebrate. So back in the early to mid 70’s she called and my mom answered the phone. My mom spoke to her for awhile and then asked if I wanted to talk to my Granny. I was lying in the floor watching one of the talk/variety shows (not sure if it was Mike Douglas or Dick Cavett or who….) I was very eagerly awaiting #TomJones to come out and perform. I told my mom to tell Granny I would call her back after I watched Tom Jones. My mother relayed the message. Suddenly, my mom yelled, “MOTHER! What did you say? WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT?!?” Tom wasn’t on yet so I instantly asked what Granny said. My mom was shocked. She finally blurted out: “Your GRANDMOTHER wants to know if you’re creaming your jeans waiting for Tom Jones!” My jaw DROPPED. I said I would figure it all out AFTER Tom Jones performed. I watched Tom and as usual: HUBBA HUBBA! ❤ I called my Granny back. I thought she couldn’t possibly know what that phrase meant, but it seems one of my male cousins who was in college at the time had taken it upon himself to keep our very religious, but very cool grandma apprised of all the hip lingo. She knew what it meant and thought it was hilarious. She admitted to me years later when I was an adult that her saying that was the closest she ever came to cursing. But she felt it was important especially since she also liked Tom Jones. Generations of women bonding over Sir Tom Jones for decades. We will always love you, Tom! ❤❤❤

This guy kicks Martian ass. Sold. 👍
Mr. Jones has too much emotion and swagger for this song.
Underrated pop song that still keeps me singing and dancing. Great collaboration.

One of the best covers
Tom is a better more, controlled and passionate singer at his current age than 90% of the “stars” singing today.
Listen,,???? Do you hear that???????
THE MAN.
The guy's like 97.
Because he doesn't use Autotune, so there's some actual talent and soul behind his singing.
Powker The Veriest hes 80
Was watching snippets from The Voice UK. You have Tom there as the Old Master. I know these are set ups but Dang he's belting out the tunes like it was 40 years ago. This is what Elvis would have been if he hadn't destroyed himself with drugs. Lordy could you imagine the two of them on stage now doing more than the new ones do by half. Selling out everywhere they went. Oh that would have been sweet.
What a brilliant collaboration... It so worked. Great song.
Tom Jomes is one heck of a singer. Powerful voice. Never gets old
Tom Jones.. On one day he saves Earth from an alien invasion, on another day he reappears on RUclips to burn down the House.. LEGEND.
