This totally compliments everything Elvis believed in. This just makes him sound even better. Kudos to the producer of this. Excellent work. I've been listening to Elvis since I could hear. Excellent version of this song.

This is how you do a remix of a tune. Taking a good song, changing it up enough so that it has it's own distinct identity, and fully crediting and acknowledging the original artist and creator as a sign of respect. The original still exists and if people want to find it, this track makes it very easy to find the original if you're interested. It likely greatly increased the awareness of the original tune for a modern audience that didn't even know it existed. There is no reason at all to hate on this.
I mean, most remixes do the same thing. People act like the original song is wiped off the Earth whenever a new version of an old song is made, or a new version of an old anything, really. People need to be okay with not liking a remake of something and recognizing that the original still exists.

As shared by a friend: "46 years after his first hit, today in 2002 ELVIS PRESLEY started a four week run at No.1 on the UK singles chart with 'A Little Less Conversation', (Elvis vs. JXL), giving Elvis a total of 18 UK No.1 singles, the most by any artist in chart history. This also set a new record for the longest span of No.1 hits with 44 years, 11 months and 9 days. His first UK No.1 single was 'All Shook Up' in 1957."

This is just spectacular! My favourite Elvis song and this remix absolutely nails it! Well done! I have mixed feelings listening to it because this song is 45 years ahead of its time, makes me want to dance and smile, can’t help tapping my fingers when I listen to it, but also tinged with sadness that Elvis has gone forever, when nobody was around to save him from his appalling manager, Colonel Tom Parker, who financially abused Elvis and over-worked him 😢 I think Elvis would have loved this remix 😢 Music was in his bones
Elvis loved a challenge, but Parker was a parasite of a manager who robbed him of numerous opportunities. Many artists wanted to work with him including David Bowie and Led Zeppelin, but Parker was greedy by wanting 50% of the songwriting royalties. Had Elvis been able to stand up to Parker, fire him, and get new management, he would have been on par with Barbra Streisand and Cher in terms of conquering music, TV, movies, and the stage, and reinventing. Dolly Parton was smart enough NOT to let Elvis record I Will Always Love You because of Parker, though Elvis would have done a knockout version of the song, and given the fact he and Priscilla divorced at the time, he would have put his heart and soul into the song. Ironically Sissy Houston's daughter would end up recording the song, becoming one of the biggest hits of the 90s.
I have this remix as a "bonus track" on the Elvis 30 #1 Hits purchased about 10 years ago or so. And I see that it says so on the youtube post. Good DVD I think I got at some dept store like Target or Meijer or something like that.
Dancing transcends genres baby. Look at all those styles together. Is that not Life? All of us in our boxes, dancing in our ways to the same song, have fun with it - we are in a universe right? Uni verse. One song. :D heyo potato!

@@tammylewis2408you are absolutely right 😢💯

I have this remix as a "bonus track" on the Elvis 30 #1 Hits purchased about 10 years ago or so. And I see that it says so on the youtube post. Good DVD I think I got at some dept store like Target or Meijer or something like that.
it took me 1 min to find it lmao
RIP Mac Davis. Thanks for writing this great song :-)
The godfather of all killer remixes. Plus that's a kick ass video.
Dancing transcends genres baby. Look at all those styles together. Is that not Life? All of us in our boxes, dancing in our ways to the same song, have fun with it - we are in a universe right? Uni verse. One song. :D heyo potato!
Whenever I have a favorite Elvis song, another one comes up to take its place.
That's been happening for 6 decades!
