Tom Jones is the absolute professional artist. I attended his concert in Seattle, 4 years ago, and he sung and danced for two and a half hours, taking only a short break in the middle of the show. You have my full respect and admiration, Mr. Jones!
Aye, I understand, Mr Tom Jones clearly is an Ow you say? An 'All American Hero.' Don't know what Tom would have made of all the smackheads, crusties and complete weirdos in Seattle. He may have seen their bizarre behaviour on the Streets and sat down with them, smoked some funky drugs and generally partied down with the Freakazoids... Mama told me not to come, Indeed. Especially not to Seattle.
The band members are clearly in awe of Tom Jones, every time he sings they have a huge smile on their faces. It makes sense because he is a legend and both are Welsh
They just had a concert and have given forth the virus that will eventually kill some hundred people more at current trends. you will understand this only if you know enough, else you will be emotionally and wrong as they are.

The song writing of Randy Newman knows no boundaries he really cracked it with this one giving the great Tom Jones an opportunity to present a superb rendition.
I saw Tom Jones in my hometown of Newcastle, Australia, last week. An absolutely fantastic night, he still has the energy of a young man at 83 years of age. A lady at the back called out "I love you Tom Jones"❤️ His humble reply, in that Welsh voice of his: "Well, I love you too" 😍 💋 He really cares about his audience. I was a little bit distracted at first that he wouldn't perform 'Mama Told Me Not To Come', it was all new arrangements, we thought perhaps due to his age. However, he saved the best for last, talking about his time performing with, and his friendship with Elvis Presley, in Las Vegas, and going to see a Chuck Berry concert, and, never comfortable with the title, Elvis, turned to Tom with a smile, and proudly stated: "That man's the King of Rock And Roll", and if you've ever dreamed about being in the movie 'Back To The Future', this was the next best thing, performing Johnny B. Goode. The Guitarist was amazing, and perhaps this was an undeclared tribute to the great Michael J. Fox to wish him well ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello fellow Novocastrian! 😛 I've never been a Tom Jones fan but ended up seeing him at Bluesfest in 2016. He ended up being one of the highlights of the festival! You could hear everyone talking about how awesome his voice was as we were leaving.
Aw God this song is too fecking cool for words! I loved this back when it was released and I still do now! I also love in the video, how the guys are all so down to earth and joking about with eachother and just revelling in thier 'Welshness' It's great how Tom Jones still has a proper really strong Welsh valleys accent too, just like the Stereophonic guys! xx
Hi Tom, I am arnold 66years old from Pretoria 🇿🇦, my late wife n I always your fans , we loved your energetic, high pitched solo vocal performances , it's was grate, you are a iconic musical genius, thank sir tom, as Shakespeare said if music be the food of love, play on , age is number ❤❤
Tom Jones, to me, would have been Top 5 in everyone’s popular male vocalist list if he’d been the frontman for a top band. Every time he steps into a blues or blues-rock genre, he kills it.
@@chrisburke8931 You wouldn't know cool if you were hit by an ice berg , the man doe his thing and doesn't give two f's ,that alone is cool in any age.
Proud to have a Welsh first name !! Love love love this song so much. I remember when it came out. I played it soooo much. And still so. Awesome voices. Love the Stereophonics lead guys’ voice too. ❤
My dad bought the whole "Reload" album for me to listen to back in the day, when I was 11. At first I only enjoyed "Sex bomb" without understanding a word lol, but then I started to appreciate the whole lot of the songs, and this one instantly became one of my favourites.
Actually out of the Stereophonics. 3 were born in Wales including the lead singer (Kelly and Richard Jones, their not related though). 1 was born in Scotland (Jamie Morrison) and 1 was born in Birmingham (Adam Zindani). Founder member who left Stuart Cable (Original drummer) was also from Wales. The only other member was Javier Weyler who left the group was from Argentina.
I can't say how much I adore the Welsh! I could listen to them chat all day! I mean my wish is that Kelly Jones would read bedtime stories on CBBC and he'd make this mamma with two 20yr old sons a very very happy mam!! They could be 50 even and I still think Kelly is a mighty fine specimen!
Tom Jones hace décadas que superó las barreras de las modas. Siempre actual. Versátil. Talento. Gran estrella. Y Stereophonics, excelente banda con mucho talento.
Three Dog Night version is very good - but this Tom Jones / Stereophonics act blows it clean out of the water ! That said , I listen to and enjoy both .
