How many Niks out of 5 do you give it?
4.5 Niks out of 5
4.75/5 i saw this song in the discord, i listened first, and later i saw the nik's reaction on twitch. Nice job by Dexcore. This really got me
2.75
I give it a WTF
For appearance, probably a 2.5 or a 3. Everything else though is an easy 5 dude.
this covered 10 years of core in 1 song.
FACTS 🤣🤣🤣
Lmao yeah
It feels like with every change in the song it was their way of saying “hey, you paying attention?”
I don't care what anybody says, this vocalist is a fucking god. His range is amazing! And so many different styles! AND he has incredible cleans! Is there anything this man can't do?!
@not me that's even better!
Check out Dir en Grey
@@Mintyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy I've listened to them forever and they're great.
He's cleans sounds like every voice from Anime opening, but the screams are very good
@@Whenisko I get that. I'm just impressed that he's able to transition between the two so easily. And as high as his cleans are, he's able to growl so low, too. And it all seems effortless. In short: his range is what I'm most impressed with :D
Little does Nik know that the song still isn't done. It's gonna hit him one day when he least expects it. Because Japan.
I love how Dexcore sounds like a glitchy nightmare at times. I think they made some elements of this song jarring like that on purpose.
Oh man I love DEXCORE, they're fucking great.
Japan is the holy ground when it comes to really, really good metal music, it's insane.
Couldn't agree more
Tv shows, books, music, etc japan has it all!! What’s not to like? … well maybe the politics but that’s with any country.
エグいブレイクダウンかました時のNik Nocturnalさんの表情がマジで好き。
その気持ち超分かるうう
Never saw Nik having soo much fun in soo long. Man had like 20 different faces in a single video
The answer this band gave when asked what sound of metal they were going for was just yes.
The mix was kind of weird but I really dig the craziness of ever-changing rhythms and it definitely sounds unique so I'd rate it 4 out of 5 Niks.
deviloof is the same way
That ending calmness then complete chaos mode was sick
I swear Nik has a very specific "fuck you, I quit" expression. XD
Dexcore is so goddamn good man
6:35 to 6:43 is exactly how I felt. What a song, man.
Tbh dexcore is an independant genre now OMEGALUL
I've been listening to them for a long time. Nik Nocturnal needs to listen to more Japanese metal as well. Like Dir En Grey, Deviloof, Dadaroma, D'espairs Ray, X Japan etc...
I support this 100%
@@kuranhelix278 Thanxs.
Same with me, huge Japanese metal fan, been into DEXCORE for a while now.
As far as Japanese metal bands go, I'd throw in Abstracts, Broken By The Scream, A Crowd of Rebellion, FOAD, Graupel and Nocturnal Bloodlust into the list too.
So I wasn't the only one getting old school DIRU vibes from this?!
@@redowns yay🙂
What overseas listeners typically call Japanese rock , with such an outstanding characteristics in fashion et cetora, may stand for Visual-Kei (Visual-Series). Of course Japanese heavy rock music consists not only of V-kei stuffs but also of artists trying to keep in pace with US and UK-EU scene, as guys like Nik already know.
Nevertheless visual-kei or Anime-oriented heavy rock songs come first before other metal music in Japan. Is it because people seek something specific here?
海外兄貴たちから見たJ-RockってV系を指すことが多いよね。
Thank you so much for reacting to my favourite band🖤🤘🏻🖤
I absolutely love this
So many breakdowns... I love it
Didn't know that Nik could make me love Japanese metal even more. Actually fun as well as crazy.
this band summarized in one word:
W U T
If anyone is looking for more of this type of music you'll have luck in looking at Nagoya kei - the subgenre/music scene Dexcore belongs to. It's a branch of Visual kei, a similar not quite as grim style if you want that. (interpretations vary from band to band pretty wildly though so forwarning that it'll hit and miss most likely)
DEATHGAZE, LYNCH are 2 of the most known nagoya kei bands
Yes sir will do
@@cataclysmchildernsvoid3455 fun fact the drummer of deathgaze is the drummer of dexcore
@@AW-qz4kk was the drummer he left no idea what he is doing now though
Please mention @Deadman too. Nagoya-kei is a different hit of darkcore
This genre of music should be called “Chaotic-core”
Dexcore: What's a transition?
I honestly feel like Japanese metal bands hit so much harder than western. They explore different sounds, try different things, and experiment. It's amazing...5 out of 5
Dexcore is a amazing band!!
3:44 *LAUGHTER STOPS* lmao
What a fucking banger! I love Visual Kei!
Thank you so much Nik Nocturnal for reacting to Visual Kei ( Visual Shock)'s VisualCore side/ scene. Visual Kei (style) has been doing Core music for years now. But as Core/ Deathcore music is more popular with internet it's quite a mainstream fad in Visual Kei now. With DEVILOOF now leading the scene.
And yes the Emotional/ passionate element has always been a Standard formula in their generic music.
Visual Kei (Visual Shock)
Japan's Glam Rock scene that started in the 80's. Super produced boy bands who follow what's hot in the Music scene out of Japan. True Diversity Thee Ultimate Glam Rock / Metal experience. XD 🇯🇵🤙
those cleans reminded me of in fear and faith like in their song (it all comes out)
Holly fuck dude that's the best thing I've heard this week
Wtf!...? Crazy good.
NOCTURNAL繋がりでNOCTURNAL BLOODLUSTも聴いてみて欲しいな
If songs were a movie, this would be an example of one.
It's like a metalcore version of Dir En Grey and I'm all for it.
such Nik much wow
I'd give it 5 out of 5 just because that last part got me by surprise and totally demolished me. It's been a while
5:18 He was not ready.
and considering I think I only heard one song from them and it was like months ago... neither was I.
He like na na na you done lmfaooo
Yep Made Sense !! Sensei!!
I fucking looooove Dexcore since idk .. Brain Washing. They are soooo good !
Hi From France !
Makes me want to go listen to Dir En Grey
So let me explain some things. This type of music is called "Visual Kei" or "J-metal" (when the song is more on the metal side) & it's super common that they go from growling to singing in an instant & they have multiple types of songs in 1 single song.
OMG brutality crazy ..😁🤩
Dexcore = Dexamphetamine Hardcore
Its like Japanese oceans at Alaska imo. And I'm here for it
so much surprise
5 breakdowns per minute
YOU FORGOT THE RULE OF DEXCORE:THEY CAN STILL GO HEAVIER
I give this 4,25 nicks for the song in general, 3 for the mix, 1,5 for the clean parts
3,5 on the dexcore scale for me, but cleans 5/5 as always
I just watched your fight or flight kick in 💀💀💀
I can't stop laughing with each breakdown please help
You should check out their new one Earthworms ft. Makita from Victim of Deception. It fucking goes! No cleans either!
Thought there was going to be a breakdown in the last minute of the video lol
Dexcore are brutal love them great reaction you should check out deviloof newspeak
He checked out Deviloof on stream the week before... it was very... interesting...

@@NikNocturnalTwitchClips Also add Hanabie - We love sweets 🧁 and Nemophila - Dissension ⚡🎌
Can you do Under the Split Tree by a crowd of rebellion? They're another cool Japanese metal (sometimes post hardcore) band
This song did NOT need to go nearly as hard as it did, holy shit
nice reaction😊
please next
DEVILOOF - Newspeak
Yes, please let Nik Nocturnal read your comment, He needs Deviloof-Newspeak in his life.

Can't remember if his reaction to Deviloof was worth clipping or not. If I remember rightly they hit him up to check out the song anyway. It should be in 9th April stream that's still up if you want to go hunting for it

Hello nik, I saw that you liked some Dexcore songs, I have another good Japanese metalcore band to recommend, it's a shame they ended up, but it's worth checking it out.
the name is Scream inside can kill or "Sick" and the song is Lux
05:49 "crab people crab people"
Got it its My dying bride but ...played on rewind XD
wtf just happened no really yeah that's illegal wtf no lmao love them
This is blessthefall core
Nick just has to react to Deviloof - Newspeak
Lol what are the odds i just found em 1 week ago
5:12 I CANT STOP REWATCHING LOL
tbh dexcore is like their own genre 😂
i wanna know wtf the lyrics in this song is about because i swear i saw a williamsburg va sign in one of those clips that flash real quick and thats where i live lol
react fear and loathing in las vegas - crossover, band from japan too
the comparison to bvb in the comments made me chuckle a bit cuz the guitarist, yumeto did a cover of a bvb song
It's reminds me to the GazettE band
Dir En Grey core for sure
KEKL KEKWait KEKL
have you check revenge the fate "dark era" already bro?
Как по мне это прекрасно
Hes gotta do dir en grey 😫
yes!!!!!
bro react to nocturnal bloodlust, dir en grey, and the gazette they set the standard for visual kei metalcore in japan
React to fear, and loathing in Las Vegas dude
Damn speaking of "from -core to anime" I want Nik to react to something like Broken by the Scream so fucking bad. It didn't happen yet, right?
Did he have a multi tonal growl in that intro? Like did he scream a chord or was that a layered vocal?
This is good a bit chaotic though
- "that's illegal"
Nah it's Japan :D
(love the way tdgaf at all)
I like the fact you give attention to visual-kei / j-rock they deserve so much.. just need to think about the GazettE, girugamesh (rip :( ), Nocturnal Bloodlust.. they're all INSANE
(absolutly LOVE how the group seems to be mad against Nik at 3:43 because he laugh :D)
The vocals in this band are basically it’s not me it’s Patricia
What’s name!??? I need it on Spotify 😫😫😫
Please reaction the gazette - blinding hope
Alesana on steroids
Omg!! 3:55 and then leading to 4:02 😂😂😂😂😂
Damn Japan you scary
This song is like "Ok, Attack Attack!, we saw your Stick Stickly song and made it Japanese weird stuff".
not wierd japanese stuff bruh ignorant as hell. its called visual kei
@@AW-qz4kk, call it whatever you want, it's weird Japanese stuff. And go cry somewhere else, hahahahahahahahahahaa.
Hm, if this was your reaction to Red Eye, I wonder how you might react to Brain Washing from them....
Animecore!!! Fuck yeah!!! Slap in the face!! 🤘🏼🔥
Yeah 5:30 fucking did me in LMAO
05:30 to 05:40 best face ever ahahahah
CANE HILL PLZZZZZZZ
I really wish Nik listened to more Jmetal, this is just the tip of the iceburg for jmetak and visual kei bands.
If you think this is weird listen to Deviloof that’s something else
You should react to The Stage by Avenged Sevenfold!
Has Nik reacted to the new deviloof song yet?
We've not clipped it but it's in the Twitch VOD from the 23rd April if you want to go hunting for it
'Phrost
@@NikNocturnalTwitchClips Thank you, will do
@@NikNocturnalTwitchClips Hmm the song came out 23rd april so i don't think he's done it yet, i skimmed the recent streams and couldn't find it. Hope he does it soon, it's a good one.
Just found it, Deviloof Newspeak was at 1h 9 Minutes in on this stream:

@@NikNocturnalTwitchClipsOh I missed it, thank you so much!
His cleans remind me of old Blessthefall.
He is probably one of the best singers in visual kei tbh
Need to listen to the track on spotify but the yt vid has 0 bass in my headphones. Weird mix 🤐
