Blaire had a whole year since Laura's death and didn't seem too guilty about it. I think that's why this all happened, this was Blaire's 2nd chance and she failed.

Disagree. She got what she deserved. She was willing to lie and watch everyone die so she didn't have to tell the truth. She got what she wanted. She's not ashamed of that anymore than what she did to Laura. She lost her friends, got a taste of what she did to Laura, and bye bye Blair.

In my honest opinion, found footage horror films are incredibly underrated. If done right, they invite you right in and make you feel as though you're right there with them, and it can be very effective and keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Movies such as this one, paranormal activity, the gallows, etc. are all examples of amazing found footage horror films.
Honestly the issue is that some found footage horror either takes too long to get into the meat of the movie or they fail to build the tension of following along with the characters. Found footage when done right is amazing to watch though This movie is closer to something like missing rather than the average found horror though. Not sure if there's a name for it
@@marslara This is true, not to mention even in a regularly formatted horror film, it can take an eternity for it to pick up as well. Those are just some other films I've found to do unique horror movies styles like these well.
I don't mind the build up, to me thats the part that most get right. but many fail at sticking the landing. often they are too worried about the "found" part of the genre title, trying to set up a scenario that takes out all the characters. even if it ends up stretching the idea of it being "found footage". like one where the leads and their camera end up in the stomach of a giant demon and get digested. as the credits roll all you can think is, how the hell did anyone find this?
I fell in love with found footage movies after clover field. Found footage is a very underrated genre that has produced some amazing experiences. Paranormal activity, Rec, VHS, etc. Not even just in horror, Chronicle is the only found footage movie I can think of about superpowers and it is still one of the greatest superhero genre movies to me.

This movie is a damn found footage classic. First time hearing about this movie and its synopsis, I never expected it to go in the directions it did and all the while keeping me hooked in every moment. One of my all time favourites, honestly.
Damn being cheated on with 14 of your friends???? Like what the f is that. How does that even happen! Not a single friend was like uhhh no you’re my friend’s boyfriend.
My favorite moment in this film is the "never have I ever sequence". How it turns into the perfect modern day Bottle Horror film with secrets and betrayals being revealed. Seriously everyone gets revealed as a piece of shit and its so satisfying. "It was my birthday mitch. "F you I bought you a card." Had me dead AF I sincerely enjoy this film and despite not being interested in the sequel,i wish more films like this were made.
I remember watching this at the theatres with my ex and I was scared but also invested too. There’s a “sequel” to this but it has a different approach where it’s more on realism and it has two different endings.
To Roxy’s point about directing and editing these kind of movies, the directors of Searching were the editors of Missing and vice versa. Because everything digital on screen had to be created in an editing program, the roles become basically interchangeable. Maybe one person has better rapport with the cast but it’s pretty much a four person team of two directors and two editors on Searching and Missing. They had a q+a after a screening of Missing. I presume Unfriended was made similarly.
You two ELEVATED this movie with your reaction! Great job! Also I think this is the BEST ROXY has ever been on RUclips with you guys on this channel. She just seems more natural and free spirited compared to a few years ago elsewhere. I LOVE her on this channel & I was not a fan years ago. I think she FITS so well. Good job all around. Cheers.

Awesome. This movie is great and does a great job of setting up everything until that epic final shot. You guys should do the Paranormal Activity movies next. I know a lot of people hate them, but for me they are really solid and fun horror films. Especially 2&3. Keep them coming !!!❤
I'm just now realising that the video of Laura holding the cards with writing on them and flipping to the next cards is a copy of Amanda Todd's video she posted in 2012 a month before taking her life. Really sad case.
Mannn watching this in the theaters the first time was a interesting experience everyone was so into I really do like this movie it felt genuine to watch
Great reaction you two! Another great Roxy and Greg reaction. 😊 This is one of my favorite scary movies. Complete with lots of jump scares. LOL! I haven't seen the sequel yet. But would love for you two to react to it. Fun Fact: I'm sure it's been mentioned, but this movie was filmed in the same house with the actors in different rooms. Another great movie that I very highly recommend to Greg & Roxy, or any of the Reel Rejects team to react to is the 2016 "Lights Out". And also another great found footage horror movie, the 2010 movie "The Last Exorcism". Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊
Scariest part of the movie was the discovery that this chick lost her virginity to homie's best friend but kept fronting like they was going to lose it together. Even in a fictional flick that ain't never sit right with my soul.
Right then to still pick a date like prom so it will be “special” is a different kind of fcked up like why not just sleep with your BOYFRIEND if you couldn’t wait 😂🤦🏾♀️ then they tried again to see if it was a fluke made it worse why would you need to double check.
@@itsbmeGaming I didn’t even peep that when I first watched it I just thought he was being a jerk because I’ve called my guy friends “babe” in a playful way lol
So there's actual mention of drugging and presumably sexually assaulting someone, then forcing an abortion... But the scariest part to you is a girl having consensual sex with someone else than their boyfriend. This is exactly the problem with a lot of men.
To answer Greg’s question at 24:26, no, the clock is not passing in real time. Earlier this year, I decided to synchronize the clock in the movie with my own as I watched it and the clock in this movie was slow. By the time it reached 10:00 PM in the film, it was at least 12 minutes later on my clock. But you know what, perhaps Laura managed to control the clock so she could have Blaire's 10:00 alarm go off when it was only her and Mitch left.
I think this movie is so underrated mostly because people don't appreciate, the theme which is, well, petty highschool drama! Even the reasons Laura had for killing them, and her methods for doing so (a blender for Ken?! A curling iron? LOL) it's like... slightly comedic. Which I think only elevates the engagement? It's just a really good little horror movie, I think! And I totally agree the editor deserves on oscar, it's so unique but does it so damn well! Blaire starting to type and then deleting things to the audience gets information other characters don't, or Laura responding before something is posted, even like... the end where Blaire purposefully covers up Mitch's face with her browser so she doesn't have to see him while she's betraying him, but we can see half of his stance in the image and we know he's watching her do it. It's just so clever! For such a unique method of filmmaking in the first place to be that good is so impressive!
shelly henning aka blair went to my acting school and was actually in my class lol. i remember when she got her big break during school as a new star major role on days of our lives soap. so this is cool to see.
As we are on the found footage roll, I would reaaaalllly love to see their reactions to the "Dyatlov-Pass incident" That movie had such a unique story and so many plot twist, love it
To keep the film suspenseful and believable, each take had script alterations on the fly and the cast were encouraged to improvise and react to the unexpected story changes.
YES. I actually hate the fact that not many people react to this movie or they always react to the sequel. That scene where they think the screen's frozen but the phone is still sliding from vibration always creeps me out
I just realized watching this again that Jacob Wysocki plays Ken in this movie! I love him on the Dropout series Make Some Noise and some of the other shows they have.
I have a small theory that Blaire would've survived if Adam's printed paper wasn't revealed. It seemed like it was done on purpose to either just foreshadow it anyway, or say that if it hadn't, it would've ended with Blaire still alive.
Both Unfriended movies are so good! The second one was more terrifying than the first one, though. But I liked watching them anyway. I’m glad you guys got to watch the first movie ❤
I loved this movie but I sort of wish Blair didn’t die. It would have been traumatic for her to have lived after that night. I was team Laura/Billie until they killed Blair. She deserved to suffer. I really enjoyed y’alls reactions and commentary tho!
If I haven’t mentioned it before I’m saying it now, I love roxi. She is so awesome and great commentator with Greg. I love them both especially when they are together commentary a movie/video.
another dope greg & roxy reaction & if ya'll enjoy this style of movie then i highly recommend watchin the sequel unfriended dark web, searching (starring john cho), missing (starring storm reid), profile (2018), and host (2020)
Oh, PLEASE watch "Host" (if you haven't already. It was filmed AND released during the shutdown of 2020. Best horror film of its time. Unfriended was good, but Host? *chef's kiss* PS. Unfriended: Dark Web was really good, too, but darker than its predecessor and a slower start.
Bro watching this i realized that was Jacob Wysocki! When i first saw him on game changer i was like he looks familiar maybe i just saw him on one of the other cast members post and i just now realized he was in this crazy. My awe of this man has hone up so much more!
the only negative i really have about this movie is the illusion breaking ending. id rather have seen something in the webcam with something else happening on screen after instead of it changing the camera and shot
I agree. I think it ending with Laura’s spirit logging off and Blair being left all alone with her friends dead and everyone online hating her wouldn’t take us out of the found footage element of it and also having to live with what she really did would be a way worse fate than Blair being killed.

My favorite moment in this film is the "never have I ever sequence". How it turns into the perfect modern day Bottle Horror film with secrets and betrayals being revealed. Seriously everyone gets revealed as a piece of shit and its so satisfying. "It was my birthday mitch.
"F you I bought you a card." Had me dead AF
I sincerely enjoy this film and despite not being interested in the sequel,i wish more films like this were made.
I remember watching this at the theatres with my ex and I was scared but also invested too. There’s a “sequel” to this but it has a different approach where it’s more on realism and it has two different endings.
3 endings

Cheers.
Fun fact: the sequel has the actor who played young Winston in the continental tv show
Roxy you rock, definitely enjoy your presence and appearances in these videos as well as Kristian Harloff's videos. Keep your head up and never let the haters get you down.
Damn, it just hit me that Val died just because Blaire added her in the call, she was not supposed to be there I think, so unlucky 😂
From what I remember, that was one of the inspirations for the movie; the Amanda Todd stuff.
@46:31 Greg's curls cover his eyes just right to make him look possessed or super creepy.
39:35 a 14 body count by High School is WILD!
Mannn watching this in the theaters the first time was a interesting experience everyone was so into I really do like this movie it felt genuine to watch
Great reaction you two!
Another great Roxy and Greg reaction. 😊
This is one of my favorite scary movies.
In hindsight this is hinted at in the beginning when the friend called her “babe” and he asked “why are you calling my girlfriend babe?”.
@@itsbmeGaming Or the fact she kept letting him crack jokes about sex.
Super excited to see someone react to this!! It's one of my favourite horror movies
I love this movie. It makes normal social media sounds from 2014 scary
So excited to see Greg and Roxy react to this movie! This movie is good and underrated! 👍
57:58 - Andrew also edited the 2nd film “Unfriended:Dark Web” which I truly believe is the better of the two films, I’d definitely give it a watch.
By far my favorite intro I've ever seen for anything! Lmao
I'm loving she's carrying on The Purge pillow tap. 😂😂😂
shelly henning aka blair went to my acting school and was actually in my class lol. i remember when she got her big break during school as a new star major role on days of our lives soap. so this is cool to see.
As we are on the found footage roll, I would reaaaalllly love to see their reactions to the "Dyatlov-Pass incident" That movie had such a unique story and so many plot twist, love it
Along with the Sequel, there is another movie in the same vein named "Host", which to my mind was just as good, if not better than the orignal.
14:57 damn she caught the wrong name gab. This girl is good at reacting haha very attentive 😂
I’ve seen this movie a stupid number of times and I’ve never noticed - she’s great!
This reaction was good and all but can we talk about that 14 best friends story from Roxy? lol
To keep the film suspenseful and believable, each take had script alterations on the fly and the cast were encouraged to improvise and react to the unexpected story changes.
Totally BOSS intro. Though I will admit, I expected Greg to fall over and out of the chair while trying to get into those positions. 😂
YES. I actually hate the fact that not many people react to this movie or they always react to the sequel. That scene where they think the screen's frozen but the phone is still sliding from vibration always creeps me out
Glad y’all put that note for RUclips because some content creators have had their reviews or reactions taken down
The intro 🤣🤣…Roxy continues with the Purge pillow haha…damn so intense!!! 😵😵freaked me out!… Coy friending and unfriendinh Roxy😵
I can imagine laura thinking while being logged in while the confessions reach peak "wth man, didnt mean it like THAT tho" 💀
I love it when producers take advantage of low budgets and create masterpieces.
“Unfriended: Dark Web” NEXT PLS and thank you
I just realized watching this again that Jacob Wysocki plays Ken in this movie!
@The Reel Rejects best intro ever, but y’all forgot: “Citizens of the reject nation..!” Btw… We ❤, & don’t want to get rid of you!
Both Unfriended movies are so good! The second one was more terrifying than the first one, though. But I liked watching them anyway. I’m glad you guys got to watch the first movie ❤
One of the best modern original found footage films!!!!
I loved this movie but I sort of wish Blair didn’t die. It would have been traumatic for her to have lived after that night. I was team Laura/Billie until they killed Blair. She deserved to suffer. I really enjoyed y’alls reactions and commentary tho!
I’m surprised Greg never saw the movie because I remember seeing him react to the trailer when it dropped
Watched this shit in theatres in 8th grade, one of the best found footage horrors, started this whole “desktop horror” sun genre
Man I really like him, her and the girl with bangs. Their vibe & charisma is unmatched I swear
If I haven’t mentioned it before I’m saying it now, I love roxi. She is so awesome and great commentator with Greg. I love them both especially when they are together commentary a movie/video.
love the chemistry yall got and greg is a g
"we are all really good people." whiskey tango foxtrot!!
“Somebody’s in their chonieeees” had me dead lmao
Both this movie and the sequel 'Unfriended: Dark Web' are fantastic movies!
another dope greg & roxy reaction & if ya'll enjoy this style of movie then i highly recommend watchin the sequel unfriended dark web, searching (starring john cho), missing (starring storm reid), profile (2018), and host (2020)
And chronicle as well
The intro was in fact good LOL
Oh, PLEASE watch "Host" (if you haven't already.
It was filmed AND released during the shutdown of 2020.
Best horror film of its time. Unfriended was good, but Host? *chef's kiss*
PS. Unfriended: Dark Web was really good, too, but darker than its predecessor and a slower start.
The worst thing about betrayal is that it never comes from an enemy
lol Greg is hilarious the intro was amazing
Bro watching this i realized that was Jacob Wysocki! When i first saw him on game changer i was like he looks familiar maybe i just saw him on one of the other cast members post and i just now realized he was in this crazy. My awe of this man has hone up so much more!
Roxy, not liking the curling iron scene just told me she's never watched sleepaway camp XD
the only negative i really have about this movie is the illusion breaking ending. id rather have seen something in the webcam with something else happening on screen after instead of it changing the camera and shot
I agree. I think it ending with Laura’s spirit logging off and Blair being left all alone with her friends dead and everyone online hating her wouldn’t take us out of the found footage element of it and also having to live with what she really did would be a way worse fate than Blair being killed.
@@itsbmeGaming literally, exactly this. Would have been waaaaaay better
That nipple chills shirt tho 😂
Moral of the story: Bullying is Bad😂💯
Honestly, i love Bekmambetov's movies, "Ночной дозор" is love, rewatching every two years
38:41 omg sending virtual hugs, that awful
My god I am SO glad I went thru school before social media.
One of the reasons I like the second one better was that I liked the characters a lot more.
It was good i love how none noticed the open bleach on the bench.
I just realized that the fat guy was played by Jacob Wysocki, that's fucking hilarious. That dude is so funny on DropOut
Nobody
Roxy- "PURGE!" 👊
Lmao. Solid.
Omg just noticed the Nipple Chills tshirt 😂😂😂😂
I really hope you guys react to gonjiam haunted asylum someday!! It’s an even more modern take on the found footage genre!!
Blessing us on a Tuesday let’s freaking gooooo
Stoked for this reaction! Highly underrated movie! Totally entertaining
