  • Finally, a follow-up review for the Beyond Nordic BN002!
I had a couple people ask about performance in the rain and it just so happened to be raining as I recorded this video.

Update: I wore them again today in some pretty heavy (but not torrential) rain and can confirm 100% that there is leakage through the pocket seams as well as through the logo sewing. The fabric is not waterproof. It resists water fairly well but does wet out in medium to heavy rain.

They don’t say the Pants are waterproof just water resistant . Every Hiker knows get Rain Pants or a Kilt / Rain Wrap or deal with the simple fact that you will probably get wet in hours of Rain anyways .I recommend cheap ultra light frog toggs or a rain wrap by lightheartgear

@@rodrev_hiking6757 i reccomend biker gear. it's pretty cheap, very very small and 100% waterproof. there is absolutly no need to buy special outdoor rain garnets for 60$ or more. i have all my rain gear by decathlon for 25$ and it lasts for almost 4 years now. pretty satisified about that

@@drug2 frog toggs do the job on a budget too :) my point was that the Brother who made the video reviewed a hiking water resistant pants like a hard shell rain pants and wonders why the pants soaks thru…
Maybe because its not waterproof ? 🤔🥴😬

Great review and a decent pair of trousers ; very similar to Revolution Race trousers which also have narrow leg endings (but have recently introduced zippers to help increase fit over boots).I have Fjallraven Kebs and Vidda Pros and a few Revolution Race trousers. Going to check this brand out now. Great Review - keep up the good work. ATB Mark.

Thanks! Boot zippers are a clever idea. I'm a fan of the cinches that Graphene-X has on their new pants (I want to do a review of those too, sometime) but Fjällräven Vidda Pros are still some of my favorite pairs with their clasps and excellent pocket designs.

Hello, how does the trouser fit? Are they slim or wide? Thank you and nice Video. :)

What size did you get, and how do they fit. And if you dont mind me asking what are your measurements in cm?

I don't have the pants anymore to check but iirc they were mediums (Kickstarter didn't save the info so I'm not positive) and fit very well. I have an 88 cm inseam and a 91 cm hip (I'm 180 cm tall fwiw)
      I hope that helps!
