Hey Chigg, I love you channel. How do you preserve something like that bayonet? Wax?
Well you put the bayonet in electrolysis.... if so can you make a video on it please
1:55 grinding wheel?
@cowtownokla Electrolysis first and then maybe wax. Havn't decided.
@bigoldavey Will do. Thanks
Holy Mackerel, the bayonet is awesome. Finding relics like that is why you’re the best.
Mr. Chigg Sir ... Thank you. Your picture, title and content didn't need to be "bait" of any kind. Just a good old fashioned video. 👍, salute.
The snake and the spider. Maw, get me my flamethrower!
LOL!!!
I wouldn’t be any where near the snake the spider is okay.
Both are friendly. Great river partners
Beautiful rat snake
Be polite. You're in their house.
I love your videos, but this Alaska girl is glad you're the one finding snakes and spiders!
Most awesome finds!!!!
absolutely love your videos. especially these river ones. you’re extremely unique on this platform man
I love your videos don’t ever stop taking us along!
Glad you`re back in the water.
That bayonet is in amazing condition
Great find
River adventures are your best and my favorite.
Congrats Chigg! That bayonet is simply incredible.
The river treasures are still abundant! Well preserved too. Very nice!
You continue to make it interesting, Beau. Thanks for all your hard work. It's appreciated.
That brassy cup shaped thing looks like it could have been a grease cup too an old motor boat engine, and other kinds of engines as well. You would pack it with grease and it would melt and lubricate old motors. Late 1800's early 1900's. They were used on early automobiles as well.
Thank you for a good video. Awesome bayonet! Very nice. God Bless you. Have a good weekend.
Yay water seasons here excited and excited to watch his videos to
I really appreciate the way you collect and show all the random junk along with the relics and coins! I always go over all the "stuff" again after a detecting trip. I especially enjoy the Civil War relics - which I will never see on the left coast. The design of the bayonet kind of reminds me of the one I have for my 1886 8mm Lebel, and even more the one for my son's Mosin-Nagant.
Hello Chigg, congrats for sure!!! Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 😇🙏👊
That spot reminds me of the place that you found the rifle a few years ago. It was buried in the bank. You found it and came back to the next day to dig it out.
Spring has sprung and River Adventures have resumed! Congrats on the bayonet and a few cool bullets.
WOW, so many relics!!! I'm thinking HONEY HOLE!!!
A friend of mine was a history professor and he told me the bayonet is designed that way so when you stab someone the wound will never heal or it’ll be incredibly hard to heal.
I’m glad you found it. It’s beautiful.
Holy crap that's a huge spider ! That's a big miniball. Never seen that large caliber before. Love that carved bullet. Congratulations on finding that bayonet Chiggs ! Great find. Really enjoyed the river hunt and seeing the finds. Take care and best regards !
Nice
Man you had a great day on the river! That bayonet is in fantastic condition. Cool carved bullet as well! Congrats on all the relics.
Yeah boi!!!😂😂👍👍😉
"Hooooooolld your breath!"
That bayonet and bullets gonna make a beautiful display.
I think the cast iron round object is a "bell" from a cookstove. They open and close to let air in. My Elmira oval has three of them. One on the front ash door and two on the fire box side.
Awesome bayonette and the carved bullet was really interesting! Never knew people did that.
Been following you on your channel for several years now and thoroughly enjoy and look forward to your detecting adventures. That socket bayonet is an awesome find. Almost looks like you could unscrew that locking ring!
I only dig up old nails and trash :( . Amazing finds!
Congratulations on that beautiful bayonet. That's a fairly good condition.
Yep Some Time's We Have To Go All In To Get The Good's. 😎👍✌
Greene carbine had a solid base and was used during the CW
BEAUTIFUL Bayonet 👀
Another amazing river hunt. So awesome. Thank you. My favorites are when you find Revolutionary and Civil War relics. I remember when you found an incredible number of canon balls and artillery shells. I was so excited for you that I nearly fell out of my chair. I'm a disabled veteran and get out and treasure hunt vicariously through your videos. Would you know if there were any Civil War battles in Missouri? I live in Kansas City close to the Missouri River, quite close to where the steamboat Arabia was found. Good hunting.
Troll planes , Troll trains , Troll cows …

What a great day in the water
Epic day on the water! Congrats on all your recoveries Chigg
What a fabulous Enfield bayonet and in great shape. I have a similar one for the Martini Enfield in excellent condition with scabbard. I bought it in England.
Nice call. Definite Enfield.
Great day for some nice finds. I’ve been waiting for some river excursions
Glad you didn’t step on that bayonet. That would have been an oucher for sure
Enjoyed this one! Thank you!
Hi, from Colorado! Super happy to have recently found your gazillion videos! Thank you so much! I'm enjoying them tremendously!
The brass thing looks like the porcelain thing on the bottom of a toilet. Probably not!
Hope you got warmed up!
I also enjoyed the dessert videos from a while back. My grandparents snowbirded very near where you hunted geodes a time and I may have visited also. We went to Opal Hill mine nearby, mostly fire agates. West of Palo Verde, CA. Miss them and the good times we had in the dessert. 🖖❤
Ha, ha, we all caught the Beaver joke!
that would make my year.
Awesome finds. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!!!
Nice one Chigg! Persistent and productive as usual.
Awesome finds! Congrats on the bayonet!
The mystery find you called a wheel of some sort really resembles the top of an old timey straw dispenser. The top has a shaft with a plate bottom to it and you lift the top and the wax paper straws lift up too so you can grab a straw. Think diners.
Awesome find on the bayonet !
A beautiful bayonet congratulations
Great finds. Bayonet! Nice!
Love the river adventures!
Congratulations
Am always amazed by the preservation of river finds it looks like the where lost just yesterday

That bayonet is such a cool find Chigg. Amazing condition too. Congrats on the CW relics. I love finding those carved bullets.
Did you bring the snake home as a pet? 😂
That mini that was cut... maybe it was used as a sinker for fishing in that brook???
Very Excellent Finds Beau Sweet Bayonet !!! "Ahsome Opossum !"!!!; )
Wow! Some cool finds
Well done chig that’s a great day🎉
That round thing looks like my anode off back of my boat.
You had me with the bayonet tease. Thanks, Beau.
You know me.... ;) Thanks for the donation!
This is your big year chigg I know it!
But that's awesome the bayonet and all those bullets
You must be on one fiercely contested piece of river
CONGRATULATIONS on that Bayonette! Fantastic condition, looks like it was dropped last week!!
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota
Fantastic hunt...Best nugget.
Looks like a cutting wheel 😊
Great searchin’
Awesome day chigg
12 ga hull next to the .69 cal ball would be a good comparison. They are very close. Sweet bayonet.
that was a good day.
Good video and hunt. Love the bayonet.
Great finds! Congratulations
Congratulations. So awesome.
So cool!
Freakin Awesome Dude.
Wow awesome...❤patsy
DUDE!! real nice score, condrats!!!!
17:50 that is a " thing ma jig " , becareful with that! 😮, it goes to a shell!
Not positive but I believe that thing around 18:00 is what you'd refer to as a Thingamabob..or possibly a Dohickey!
The "brassy cup shaped thing" could perhaps be the anvil cap of a Confederate Archer Percussion Fuse or an English Britten Percussion Fuse. See "The Half Shell Book," pages 14 and 15.
Looked it up, you are right. Thanks
Nice bayonet 👍
Great stuff👍good finds🙏💯
No troll train but a troll plane!!😅 Amazing finds!!!!
Awesome video Chigg!
bayonet should have the US stamping..pretty cool. 😎
Nice bayonet!
Hola Chig. I have a theory on two bullets you found. Both are related to reducing weight of projectial. Shave off the weight of Bullitt. That one bullit you found, was a "Snipers round" I don't think it was a game piece. Rk.
U got on it today!
