    I mine a very unique semi precious Gemstone known as BC Ocean Picture Stone. Ocean Picture Stone is a blue Chalcedony / Listwanite mix that makes perfect, naturally occurring ocean scenes. This stone is only found in one place in the world. And I run a private quarry mining this stone. Time to open up the mine for the year!

    • @Danhurd
      @Danhurd  25 дней назад

      Cutting solid Chalcedony with that saw would take HUGE amounts of time. Yes it would get bigger pieces, but I would just have to break down those bigger pieces to cut anyhow..... Overall time to extract would go way up.

    With the popularity of this stuff, you might need to get some power equipment out there!
    Nothing big mind you, I'm talking about the smallest stuff. There was a big buzz about the "cheapest Chinese mini excavator" a while back (actual alibaba power equipment), and it's basically a gas powered shovel, which is exactly what's needed. enough power to get bigger chunks in the truck all day, a bit more breakout power, and best of all, you could move way more overburden without breaking your back for days.
    Also, you can just tarp it when you're not there
