- I realized the other day just how difficult it is to find jobs for military spouses! My wife, who has a great resume, skillset, and work ethic, was having a hard time finding a job when I got orders. That got me thinking about how many military spouses struggle to find a good job when they PCS. My hope is that this video sheds some light on ways to make the duty station transfer easier, and allows you and your spouse to both have quality jobs, and earn a decent living together!

Thank you for all these options. My husband got orders to Hawaii and I’m having troubles with finding a job. I’ll keep job hunting but with these ideas in mind I’ll hopefully find a new job

Thank god you didn't recommend working at a bx or shoppette. Anyone even remotely thinking about it should just take advantage of the free spouse education they can get
Hahaha, I tried to recommend careers, more than hourly jobs.
I’m young and so is my spouse (23) if I go to the military how does it work? Everywhere and anywhere I’m stationed she comes?
For the most part, yet. Not on deployment, and there are a few bases that you can go to on unaccompanied orders.
I am interested in getting the job papers and yes I am not educated

@done5060 well, that's a shitty outlook. There are tons of opportunities once you decide to look for them
@@Frommilitarytomillionaire : I’ve invested 19yrs of my life into Information Technology, if I have to do something remote with any civilian employer, the chances are very slim and if I want government or the big 5 that support the military, (SAIC, Boeing, Northrop Gunman, General Dynamics & Leidos) it’s going to take more than 12 months for me to get a clearance.
PS: my wife is the active one in US Army
If I want to remain in IT, it’s going to be extremely tough, it’s rare to see if any of the aforesaid offers part time positions
