Love Langers! Been going there since high school. My friends Dad had an office not far from Langers. He was a regular customer. We'd go by Langers to pick up his call in order for him then walk to his office and drop it off before going shopping at the Cooper building. Great memories. This was 1987/88.
Only open for 77 years. Hope it catches on with people. Appreciate the video and now I am hungry for some pastrami.

I was so lucky to have been in the games/arcade business in LA during the 70's. CA Robinson arcade parts company used to cater free lunches for customers, with Langers staff carving and serving on location on Fridays, seemed like we always needed parts on Fridays...

as a kid my mom would take us to macarthur Park to watch the ducks, smh no joke, but now as an adult I would love to check out this restaurant
I’m from Connecticut and am loyal to NY delis like Katz Deli. My daughter lives in LA and my wife and I visit periodically. I decided that I had to try Langer’s Deli. I’m prejudice against anything California, especially if it’s LA vs. NYC. However, I have to admit that: (1) Langer’s is the best deli in the world; (2) Langer’s pastrami is superior to anyone else’s pastrami; and (3) the No. 19 sandwich is so good it should be illegal.
Haven't been there in ages, but now I'm craving a Langer's pastrami. 🤤

Been to Katz's in SoHo. The Best. So Kosher, if you ask for swiss cheese, they pretend they didn't hear you. When I was a student at LACC, I deliberately found a room that was 3 blocks from Canter's on Fairfax. Never heard of Langer's.
It is better than any NY pastrami.
By the way, the painting just over your left shoulder is of my father!

The price for a good pastrami sandwich has always been high. I worked in the Valley during the 80/90’s and would go to one of the good deli’s a couple of times a month. Back then a sandwich was $8/9. What are they now?

Tommy's joint in San Francisco is the best pastrami I've ever had but u might get mugged trying to get there.
It may or may not be the world's best pastrami. I don't know. I haven't tried them all. But you can be sure it is among the most expensive.

Right. But you gotta sign your life away, create a will, a Trust before getting there. Risk everything for a sandwich. LA's fentanyl epicenter, them zombie hobos be still at the same position by 3 pm as you saw them at 9 am. Eat at your own risk.
