- In 2016, Robert Poynter went to go help his wife, Chacey Poynter, after she called him saying she was having car troubles. When Robert arrived to help his wife, he was suddenly shot dead and his wife claimed she had no idea who fired the shot. As police later investigated the crime, they believed that Chacey hadn’t been telling the full truth of what really happened. The Decoder breaks down the tragic murder of Robert Poynter.

I remember seeing this on a crime show on tv and I remember thinking her theatrical, fake hyperventilating was a red flag. She was so over the top that you couldn’t help but come to that conclusion.

The ring = "apparently, at least one other woman trusts him enough to marry him and have kids with him. So I feel attracted to that." Bad decision. You dont deserve to die for cheating on your wife, but had he stayed in his lane, he probably is alive today.
I want to say this as well, though. While Bob may have not shown excellent morals in all aspects of his life, none of us do, and it doesnt change the fact that he served his community, while risking it all for himself.
He deserves his recognition for that.

And yeah, they may be interested NOW when you’re 40-50 years old and they’re only 20 something.
