    Ingredients :
    Chick pea(soaked )-1/2kg
    Grated coconut -11/4cup
    Red chilli-9
    Green chilli-2 to 3
    Ginger-a small piece
    Turmeric pdr
    Pepper pdr-1/4 tsp
    Asafoetida pdr-1/4 tsp
    Mustard seed
    Curry leaves
    Coconut oil
    Salt
    Method:
    Soak chick peas for 7 to 8 hours.Pressure cook it
    by adding turmeric pdr & salt.It needs 5 to 6
    whistles to get cooked softly.
    ✔️The taste of Kadala Chundal is related to the
    softness of the cooked Chick peas.
    Simultaneously, in a kadai, add coconut oil and
    splutter the mustard seeds
    by adding red chillies, green chillies, curry leaves,
    asafoetida & grated coconut. Saute for 2-3 mins.&
    add the cooked chick peas into it.Mix it well &
    finally..
    sprinkle, pepper pdr over it and mix once again...
    Now the tasty Kadala Chundal is ready to serve...
    Serve hot with a cup of coffee or tea...
