    Ingredients by Kavitha Sunildutt is focused on both veg.and non-veg Kerala recipes as well as Indian.
    Ingredients :
    Small mangoes -10
    (Chandrakaran mango)
    Turmeric powder-3/4 tsp
    Chilli powder-1/2tsp
    Pepper powder-1/4 tsp
    Green Chilli - 6(small)
    Shallots-2
    Grated Coconut- 3/4th of a coconut
    Thick Curd-2 1/2 cup
    Cumin-1tsp
    Jaggery-a small piece(OR) Sugar -11/2tb sp
    Fenugreek seed-11/2tsp
    Mustard seed-11/2tsp
    Dried red Chilli-4
    Coconut Oil-2tb sp
    Curry leaves
    Salt to taste
    Method:
    After cleaning mangoes thoroughly, peel off the skin and cook it for 10 min.in an Earthenware..Meanwhile add turmeric, chilli powder, pepper powder, green chillies, curry leaves and salt.
    Grind the coconut with cumin, filtered jaggery (3 tb sp.approx.), 1/2 a cup Curd &1/4 cup water, to get a smooth paste.
    Add the paste to the cooked mangoes and stir continuously by turning the flame to lower mode.After 2 mins. add curd and mix well.Put off the flame before it starts boiling...Add salt if needed.
    Splutter fenugreek, mustard, thin shallot pieces, dried chilli & curry leaves...
