Andrea, I'm a little late to the "game", but wanted to comment on your Teaser progression. I love your teaching style and approach to making this very difficult exercise accessible to many. Thank you!

What exercises would you recommend for shoulder, lats and the serratus areas? I've been trying to find ways to exercise them. thanks!

Hi Amanda - you bring up a good point - working the Teaser on the Long Box especially requires connecting the arm and shoulder girdle into the larger back muscles. We have lots of places to work on this in our foundational exercises all around the studio. Some exercises might include Arm Springs lying down on the Cadillac, the Arm Chair apparatus - Boxing, Circles and Hug - when you can work the arms with the back against the apparatus you can get a feel for how the shoulder blades move the arms and shoulders from a more "central" location. Even exercises like the Hundred are working on this skill from the very top of the workout. When you do your Mat workout the starting position for the Roll Up can also be a good place to see what happens to your back when the arms go overhead. And then you can take this skill to the Short Box and other places - like your Teaser! - where you don't have as much feedback from the apparatus. Does this make sense? I hope so :) thank you so much for watching and for sharing your questions here with us. xox
