Your videos have shifted enormously. Love the diversity. Thanks you showing us this part of the world. The omo valley reminded me of high school lessons. 🙂
I watched almost all the videos you posted about Ethiopia, It’s incredible. Even though I am Ethiopian, there are so many places I didn’t visit. You’re inspiring me to visit those beautiful places. Thank you God bless 💚💛❤️
The facial art is beautiful. I admire how warm, vibrant and content the tribal peoples seemed. Good trip. I would like to watch you do more explorations of Ethiopia in future, if you can. I see so much of what I would call, "their cultural essence" all over East Africa. Which is why we love them so much.
I love how they are extremely minimalist low maintenance and what makes it even more exciting is hw they coexist with nature in a very respectful way ..Ethiopia 🇪🇹 is such an amazing, mind blowing country they must the most diverse people in the entire world .thanks 🙏 you two you did an amazing job
Wow, am impressed. Good for you both! This is a dream come true. Wish I could travel this way, but never had the means nor the courage while leaving in Addis..
Lovely 🥰 😘! Dave and Trace, you are truly inspiring and as Ethiopian 🇪🇹 I should thank you for sharing your experiences in this beautiful land with the whole world!
Wow!!! This video is amazing! I cannot wait to visit Africa for the first time later this year! My husband is from Kenya and I am so exited to visit his home country. Thank you so much Dave & Tracey for making these amazing videos!!!!!
We Ethiopians are friendly, kind respect all human beings no matter which country u came from we treat the same way so please come & visit our country i just want to say thank you for you sharing this wonderful video God bless you🙏
I wonder if you have thought of visiting Shashemane a city no so far away from Addis. Here you will find the Rastafarian community which migrated from Jamaica 60 years ago when Emperor Haile Selassie gave them 50 Acres of land to settle in. They have a shrine there and quite interesting. Worth visiting indeed.
You guys never cease to amaze me with your professional and amusing vlogs. I'm looking forward your next trips.. Arba Minch, Hawassa, Gondar, Bahir Dar, and maybe Harer (people feed hyenas) 😃
Amazing video! One of the best I’ve seen. I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, just a correction. It was mentioned that the Hamar people is the largest ethnic group in Ethiopia at some 65,000. The Hamar people are not even 1% of the national population. A number of ethnic groups are well over a million strong. The largest group would be the Oromo people followed closely by the Amhara people.
For me it's those adorable kids adorning you with face paints...and the man with a hearty infectious laugh! 😊 Samburus relate more with tea than coffee. Otherwise milk is their staple drink across the demographics
I try another one: to ravel us to live .... or is it to live is to travel. 🤔 Amazing face painting. And such a great interaction with the kids. Amazing video to watch 😋
I've been waiting for this video! I hope to also spend 3 days in the Omo Valley so thank you for sharing the information about the tour company! Which month did you go here? I'll be there in August and I wonder if I'll see some rain. It looks like you guys went during dry season.
@wow - very nice. Thanks a lot for showing this other & "uniquely more African" part of southern Ethiopia. PS: many of the tribes in the southern borderlands of Ethiopia also extend into northern Kenya, northern Uganda, South Sudan & Somalia. But & obviously, those in Ethiopia tend to be far less affected by foreign influences [Arabs', highland Ethiopians', Muzungus'/Europeans'] - for now. There are many Christian & Islamic missionaries hovering around these tribes to convert them. In that sense, these are literally "the last authentically African tribes". And, the Omo river is the main source of water for Lake Turkana [ex- Lake Rudolf]. About 90% of the waters that feed & sustain this "largest desert lake in the world" come via the Omo river. The rest of the waters come via the Turkwell river that rises in the Kenyan highlands. Lake Turkana is one of the largest lakes in Africa & even the world. It is the 24th largest in the world with the dimensions of: 290 km (180 miles) long & 32 km (20 miles) wide. Over the past decade or so, Ethiopia has built 3 major hydro dams in the upper sections of the Omo river & some of the electricity from these is exported to Kenya. But, there are fears that the dams will cause major & negative environmental impacts by reducing the amount of water that flows into Lake Turkana & into the lower sections of the Omo river where most of those unique tribes live. The lake could easily be reduced into a series of small & shallow puddles if Ethiopia takes-out more water from the Omo river, say, for irrigation. Many of these tribes also depend on Lake Turkana as the source of fish to supplement their sorghum/millet-farming & cattle/goats/camels herding livlihood. Nagaatti. Best wishes.

Sadly it is not possible due to copyrights. Trust me, I search everyone to license Ethiopian song and there was nothing...

Just wondering,do you guys take relief food and water, supplies etc to these villagers?❤
No as they are more self sufficient then people might think. We do pay them to do this tho.
did you see Doho Logde, Kuriftu Logde and Awash national park? some people use a tent as i heard. 💚💛❤
We did go to Kuriftu.
