- The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda is world famous due to it's rare mountain gorilla population but did you know that many communities are also living inside the hostile environment? Today, we are going deep inside the rain forest to learn more about these people and their way of life.
Our journey started by visiting a small coffee plantation where a local woman showed us how Ugandan coffee is grown and processed to its final product enjoyed all around the world. Uganda is the number 1 exporter of coffee in whole of Africa.
From there, we kept walking deeper and deeper inside the Bwindi Forest where we spotted at a banana plantation. Bananas in Uganda are literally growing everywhere and there are not only delicious are the yellow fruit we all know but can also be turned into other liquids highly enjoyed by locals to say the least.
The Pygmies, one of Africa's most famous tribe. Know to be living mostly in central Africa, some Pygmies or Batwa people have been living in the Ugandan regions for thousands of years. Today, there are for the most part extinct from this part of the African continent but some are doing everything they can to keep their culture alive. Visiting a Pygmy village and learning about how they live was a very interesting experience.
We also took the time to visit an amazing organization called Ride 4 a Woman where they help women learn different skills so they can make a living and support their family.
And finally, we ended up our visit at a local bar wish was a vibe!

Well I hope you do! Uganda is a beautiful country. 🇺🇬
That's called local tourism😂
I have to say. What you and Tracy have done to educate the world about Africa, is commendable. We Africans haven't been able to expose the world to the kind of content that you have and I am grateful.
This means the world, thank you!
Thx for visiting our nation...so proud 👏 ❤😊😊
Our pleasure!
I appreciate the fact that y’all make me love my country more and more. Let’s subscribe

👍EAC shares Tourists.
Many African content creators don't have the same access to content consumers as you do. So this is a great platform to showcase Africa
We are doing our best! Africa is the land of adventures! :)
Looking forward to more adventures from you guys
But make them abit longer please i feel there so short 😂coz I can't get enough
Haha doing our best here. The good news is that we upload twice a week every single week. 👍🏼
Thank you so much for marketing our uganda's tourism industry. Another thing i love about you is that you love people.thank you for loving my country ❤❤. I love you both

Wow thanks a lot :)
The pygmies really freaked me out making fire like that 🙆. Educative vid. Webale🤝
Haha it's so hard to do!!!
What you don't see living here every day, is how green this country is. It's funny but we live this weather every day these blessings it's really a miracle. We even have a saying about a kind of weather that happens here very often; it starts raining while the sun ☀️☀️ is shining at the same time we say that a lion is giving birth which might or might not be true
Uganda is indeed one of the lushest country I have ever seen. ❤️
Dave, you have amazing adventure videos....kindly plan it on your calendar to pay also kasese district in western Uganda and dicover much more about adventure tourism ànd so much more different from this as concerned.
Thanks once again for your grateful effort and time.
Rrgards,
Azaliah
We would love that! We can't wait to come back tu Uganda! 🇺🇬❤️👍🏼
Thank you for loving our nation ...We love you ❤
Cheers ❤️❤️❤️
Exciting vlog to watch, I only learned about these communities in history class, but to see their lives is different.
I'm so glad! Doing our best to make the content as fun and educative as possible. 😁
Hey Dave and Tracey,
Its Zaria, here from Kenya.. as a side note, i thought to add on Dave's point on the pygmies in the forest... some cultures choose to continue with an intermarriage system.
It ensures pure blood within the tribe.. and again I've said some..There are even some communities world wide, that do not associate with the outside world ( there are a few South American tribes , that still live within the amazon forest and have no contact with the outside world) , the internet.. and it's because they do not want it ''colliding'' with their own systems and progarammes. Okay, thankyou ,bye!! :) :)
Love, love you two though!!
Oh that is very interesting! Thank you Zaria. ❤️👍🏼
Wow! So much fun and thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for watching!
Im a Ugandan but I've not even had a chance to go anywhere near rain 🌧️ forest. This experience gives me even hope to try one
I hope you can check it out! Lots to see out there :)
I'm from Kenya, and I have been to Bwindi, for gorilla tracking, what an experience! Our vehicle got stuck in mud when leaving, but it was all worth it. I also did Ziplining across lake Bunyonyi..totally in love with UG!😊😊.
If u get an opportunity, something I'd recommend 😊😊
Next time, I'd love to visit the community..I missed that😢
Hello it's in my home village, just visit me you Will have visited one,I will take u around
One of the best series 💯💯
Thanks a lot Brian :)
Great vlog 👍 👌 👏 glad that you enjoyed uganda
Thanks a lot. We had such a good time there. 🇺🇬
I have loved your content about Uganda. Hope you enjoyed your stay .
We loved it! :) 🇺🇬
Well done the two of you. Some justice to the language interpretation - at 6:27 the M'twa is actually telling you that the fruits are harvested from the bush and are very good for treatment of cough and stomach related problems so it is not as you stated 'favorite to eat' but medicinal.
That so interesting. Thanks a lot for the translation man! :)
“Bush Engineers” My favourite quote to mean the Batwa
They really are! :)
Wonderful content
Thank you very very much!
It was the "MWEBALE" for me 😂..... thanks for sharing these contents about our country ❤❤❤

Just landed on your channel today. I am a Ugandan traveller and I am loving what you do. Just one request, it would also be helpful for us if you share details about rates for the places ypu visit. Thank you very much.
True but this was organized by the travel agency we work with so I actually don't have the rates. I did put their info in the description tho. 👍🏼
Wonderful experiences though missed Murchison fall.
Next time we'll make sure to check out the fall! :D
You need to do Jinja adventures and Lake Mburo national park on your return to Uganda

They are :p
Wow
😉
Great vlog cuties 😍😇
Thank you 😊
Am a ugandan new subscriber thanks for visiting my country, Do you need to stay
Much appreciated! :)
My mind is blown, this entire vid has been wholesome and educational, I love it ❤❤. Two questions, does banana juice/beer/gin taste like bananas? For Trace, is Ugandan coffee as acidic as Kenyan coffee or is it mild like Rwandese coffee?
For the banana stuff, the juice tastes a lot like banana but the beer and gin not really. Just sweeter than normal beer and gin.
For the coffee... I am the wrong person to ask haha. I hate coffee and know nothing about it. I just know that Tracey loves Ugandan coffee.
We love our country Uganda
Its beautiful :)
When are you visiting Rwanda
Dancing 🕺
Always! 😎
Niceee. This looks like Bundibugyo or Kasese.
This was just outside of Bwindi Forest.
Vous êtes les bienvenues ici, installez vous à l'aise et profitez bien de votre sejour. I'm à big fan. Meilleurs vœux à vous.✌🏼
Merci beaucoup c'est très gentil! 🇺🇬❤️

❤🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬❣️
:D
I’m proud Ugandan🙏
Amazing ❤️
Love your videos.
Just wanted to point out that it's banana leaves not trees
Fair enough :) 🍌
How book that treck ?
Via Ongeri Expeditions. Their info is in the description of the video.
Wazungu taking African Ugandan Gin.its the best gin
It was very nice for sure ;)
Salute 🫡 💯
Cheers man :)
50 cents 😂 love ya Dave hahaha
Haha just a classic! :p
Hahahahhaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. you seem to have had fun there. my home area.
100% we did! ❤️🇺🇬
Don't forget if your traveller Uganda is one of top five blacklist countries to visit around the world 🌍 i love my motherland ✈️🇺🇬🌦️
Uganda is amazing! ❤️🇺🇬
You don't know the meaning of black list I guess.
@@jacksonmusoga6424 could be bucket list sorry 🤝
@jacksonmusoga6424 Consider the fact that in spite of being blacklisted, he still found it amazing!! Finding it amazing has nothing to do with whether he understands the meaning of "blacklist" or not. By the way, if you who speaks English as a second language gets the meaning of that word, what about a British man whose first language is actually English?!!
@@Margaret637 I understand, you just didn't phrase your message well to bring out it's true meaning. Thank you for loving "your" country though.
I hope your next destination is Bangladesh🥰🇧🇩
We will for sure visit soon! :)
@@DaveMani Thanks🥰🇧🇩
Uganda would have been the best African country but Museveni hooooooooooooooo
There is still a lot pf good things about Uganda. ❤️
I thought you said 'Burundi' but it Bwindi..... Buindi ;)
Bwindi haha
@@DaveMani 😉😀
Mwenge bigele awooma 😂😂😅
Cheers to that ;)
Banana gin???😂😂😂 We call it tonto in western uganda
Same thing haha :p 🍌
Don't mislead viewers, ESHANDE is banana juice, TONTO is a banana beer, GIN is waragi.
1
You got it brother :)
What’s the most surprising thing you learned?
Their way of living in the forest.
These people don't know modernization innt mate
They just are proud of their culture which is awesome. ❤️🇺🇬
Muzungu means wanderer not foreigner😅
It really means white man no? At least that's what it means in Kenya.
Muzunga Zunga which means You wander around hence "Muzungu"
JESUS IS LORD…AMEN🙏🙏🙏
Cheers
The Lady is actually promoting Kenya intentionally or unintendedly..... the cap she is putting on has Kenyan Flag
We live in Kenya, that's why. :)
Am Ugandan but i have never heard of that tribe😂 people still leave like that
No wonder some foreigners believe Africans leave in trees coz what's this😂😂😂😂
This tribe is normally found in western Africa and they are pretty much extinct in Uganda.
Bush engineers😂
They are! :P
Bazungu means whites
Muzungu yes. That is what I said.
It's a beautiful country, but people are brutally persecuted there just for their sexual orientation. This is terrible barbarism
You can't judge a country because of the leaders.
@@DaveManiThat's true, but if you travel there, you are financially supporting this barbarism.
I bet your country has shade innocent blood as well, but you won't count it on yourself rather the people who have done it. Interesting
Stop this nonsense. Anybody who visits Uganda tells you how peaceful our people are. Nobody is being persecuted...all you've heard is propaganda in the news!
Such ignorance 😂😂😂
