I feel this French Château has been lifted whole from its first perfection in the past. It lacks only the hundreds of people working and others enjoying the beauty! How wonderful it is being maintained today! Thank you so much for filming it! What is the lovely music?
This is truly so unique and so much history can be found there. Thank you so much for sharing. Have never seen so many corridors that wound around and am sure there is still alot of antiques that are there that could be fixed up and reused and put in the home? To thin some of it was a prison. I would have gotten lost if alone. They certainly have done a wonderful job and it is a great museum now for people to visit n learn so much!
This castle is located in France, in the Loire Valley, not far from even more famous royal castles. It is still inhabited by its current owners. Construction of the castle began in 1040 and it wasn't until the 15th century that it took on the appearance it has today.
Just Google it - tons of info all very interesting. I visited numerous castles while in the Loire Valley. Wish I could have visited this one. Stunning.
Seriously? A bunch of corridors and a lady walking around with a paper! The mannequins are kind of weird. Not very impressive since none of the rooms were shown.
Many of them did. Often the Lords of that land had the power to round up thieves and trespassers (the deer and other game on the property were considered treasure and a poacher was dealt with as though they had stolen from the castle itself) and mete out their own version of justice. You also had traveling Shire Reeves (eventually termed "Sheriff") who had with them a prisoner, and the Shire Reeve would be given accommodations by the owner of a chateau or castle, and the prisoner would be housed in the cell until they moved on.
The pride and love it took to keep thid place so important.
What a stunning property! How wonderful that so much has been retained throughout all these years.
Merci de nous avoir montré ce lieu magnifique ! Et avec une jolie musique en plus !
Il existe beaucoup de plus belle musique que ce "tingel-tangel" !

Our true calling!
Very good but dialogue and some history would be appreciated too.
there are plenty of channels doing the same content with dialogues and history. Let's appreciate the one without those

I’m happy for the time we’re given.
Feel free to add any information to his video.

I agree! I wanted to see the grand salon and some of the bedrooms.
But then, if it is open to paying tourists the owners may limit what you can film.
The chateau has its own prison?!

Ein Traumschloss. Wir besuchen es alle zwei drei Jahre. Eigentlich hat jedes Schloss seine Reize und wir haben schon sehr, sehr viele besucht. ...
Здорово, впечатлило! Да, побродить бы там! Будет ли, когда-нибудь, машина времени у людей?!
