Fascinating heritage. Good to see that you are attempting to personally preserve your family’s history in the modern age. Am so honored to meet you if only through the vlog. ''Thank you'' for this tour of 'Chateau de Bostz.' Would love to see it in person, but it would be impossible. This is just so lovely to have such a wonderful heritage and to know so much about your ancestors! My father was named Charles * he has passed* and my brother as well. Also in the family, we do have a Hendrick. Is not quite Henri, but close. lol This is such a wonderful Chateau and certainly does have a comfortable vibe to it. Everything is well suited as it is now. Grand to have your whole family able to visit and that alone is what life is really all about! Now you will have more Chateaus and not only opening all of them up and able to begin new business and notoriety to the area in which being the background reason it exists, really makes such sense and it just needs to happen, I feel too! Hope to be able to follow some of the growth! Many people will be employed as well in this way. Tour guides and so much more will be needed. So much behind the scenes must be done when organizing this. I know you are certainly more than able, of course with all the years of experience and education to know exactly how! "Many hands make light work" though too. So with others helping with all the different homes, all will come together so nicely given time. I know the Royals married into their families often and did take a wife or Queen or Princess or King, Prince etc. of another country. It helped, in the long run, to keep the money flowing in families and also to keep some wars at bay, hopefully. I too have Italian, French and English some Dutch and German also, in my ancestry. I live in the U.S. of America and did not know about your area before, the Bourbonnais in the Bourbon region, of France but it truly sounds like an outstanding place to visit/live.
You are so blessed with dedication and preseverance attributing to your skills and financial backing , as a historian . To be able to preserve such family history is incredible and admirable .
I pray you take care of your health . How hard is it have a healthy air quality in this old castles . ?? I would say dehumidify , dehumidify , dehumidify systems of all kinds , and of course a good air cleaning system .I hear sinus issues , and possible immune health needs for you. Please seek a naturopath doc ,when all else fails . Stay healthy and pass your knowledge on to the next generations . Museums if possible God bless you and yours
Well done Prince Charles. I loves this presentation with one who is a descendant. The passion, the dedication. I watched an incredible documentary on his descendant Zita of the Otterman empire (captivating story) so him mentioning it captured my attention even more. May God bless you to complete your work & may future generations learn & carry it on

Finally, a French château with the descendant of the family that built it! Marvelous! I would love to see the churches you are restoring/preserving, especially the one that is 1,100 years old.
I love that he united so many family members! I'm trying to keep track of my grandparents' descendentes; they had 20 kids and I have like 80 first cousins and a lot more first cousins once removed.
Absolutely fabulous chateau! The history is so fascinating! Thank you so much for the history lesson. We will have time to research and learn before visiting when the virus is gone.
This was such a fun tour. Beautiful house and it's brilliant that the house is still held, lived in and enjoyed by the family. As a side note the comment about the children loving the enfilade doors seriously made me laugh for joy. It's so true. When I was little we had enfilade doors and every holiday, when my family would gather, I would open all the doors, roll up the rugs and skate through the house. One of my happiest memories of childhood so that really resonated in a great way. Thank you so much for this.
That toile de jouy wallpaper was so interesting. I always wondered what happened to the Bourbons. Thank you for letting us know. World War I was such a terrible war. I am glad that there were princes who were trying desperately to bring peace and stop the war. Please tell us more about them. They deserve to have their story told more intimately. Once this COVID is over I hope to go visit your region and your house if it is open for the public. I watch the Chateau Diaries of Stephanie Jarvis and often wondered whether there were any French owners of chateaux who were also using youtube to help fund their estates. So glad to see that you are doing so especially as you have such an interesting history. I enjoy that you show us the more intimate family life rather than just famous battles and events. It makes it into a warm and interesting story. Pls show us also the pets you and your ancestors have/ had, the food they ate (favourite recipes) cooked if possible, the gardens and plants they had. If you can make your vlog a combination of the historical events with the personal and human, people will be able to relate and I am sure it will be an enormous success. You are a good storyteller. I immediately subscribed.

So wonderful to hear & see history alive!

Museums if possible
God bless you and yours
Fascinating family history, and lovely home. Thank you for sharing.
Well done Prince Charles. I loves this presentation with one who is a descendant. The passion, the dedication. I watched an incredible documentary on his descendant Zita of the Otterman empire (captivating story) so him mentioning it captured my attention even more. May God bless you to complete your work & may future generations learn & carry it on
Wonderful family history.
Often heard about the great Bourbon Family, and the great names from the house but this time Im lucky enough to know a glimpse about them. Thank you Your Royal Highnes Prince Charles Henri de Lobkowicz for the castle tour and kindly introduce the royal family. Magnificent house of the Bourbon and (Lobkowicz too) with stunning and vast herritage..a wonderful history over thousand years, and may God Bless the wonderful project of restorations, the protection project towards many prople and the opening of the castle.
With pleasure, i'll visit you and you castles. My mother's family is Madelon Lavee part from.Chambery, part from.Lyon. and in spite of my birthy country (i'am argentine) love every story and history of France and the aristocratic families. Love your enterprise. Good luck
Do you think Monarchie may be replaced in its natural place in France?
@@marielbordenaveubertis5757 love from Chambéry❤🤍I've just bought a comic "les colons du rio de la Plata- Adios Sabaudia" telling the story of the savoyards going to Argentina in 1854.
Finally, a French château with the descendant of the family that built it! Marvelous! I would love to see the churches you are restoring/preserving, especially the one that is 1,100 years old.
Beautiful tour!
This is great. Pls show the other castles too
Thanks Sir!! For taking us through the History!! It all came alive, Marvelous!!
Great video!! So well presented and entertaining. You're doing a brilliant job. Thank you.
I thoroughly enjoyed your sharing your beautiful home and your family history. I love history.Thank you
Excellent. Well presented.
Love the history.
Love hearing history.
Beautiful and I love all the bedding, wallpapers and drapes.❤
I really enjoyed this! Thank you. So much history, what an amazing family! Love Sisi, her life fascinates me. Brilliant I've come across this!
Fascinating.
You have a very illustrious ancestry and thank you for mentioning the Austrian-Hungarians.
Those restrictions will never end, eventually they'll just cut off international travel as a whole because it changes the weather or some shit.
It is so, so interesting... I Love history, and this was amazing. Thank you so much for this blog. Regards from México
