We welcome you to join us for a full tour of our beau chateau, The Chateau de Lesigny. We have accepted a once in a lifetime opportunity to move from California near Paris, France, in hopes to rebuild the many structures on this property and bring the land to its full potential! This beautiful domain includes a 16th century chateau, with a 500-year-old medieval dungeon, hunters lodge, 18th century farmhouse, 28 horse stables, and a large forest with two lakes. The chateau is currently rented for weddings, events and cinematography.
Most of the structures around the chateau domain need a full restoration, so we are investing everything we have into making the property thrive. We are learning more about french culture and developing new skills along the way! As a UC Berkeley graduate in Agriculture, and a US Air Force Veteran/ Kinesiologist, we share a love for challenges and adventure. We have so much ahead of us, and we are excited to share the experience with you!
“Not haunted!” 😂 Seriously, this is such an amazing piece of history and in remarkably good condition given all that’s taken place there. Your grandfather clearly loved it, and it’s wonderful that you both are continuing his legacy. Cannot wait to see more, and to see what projects you embark upon. This original chateau from the 1500's is to die for!💕 I love those 1800's stained glass windows, the original ceiling paintings, all the original carved woodwork, original marble fireplaces! Magnificent!

The Chateau is awe inspiring! The ceilings are my favorite. So great they have all the original paintings. Why don’t you live in the chateau? I know it’s a huge place for two people. 😂. Thank you for watching! We are very excited to talk about our continuing experiences with cinematography here at the chateau. We will certainly be making videos that dive into that aspect, as well as the weddings. We live in the Hunter’s Lodge, and we will be showing that space and the surrounding outbuildings in the next video 😊

This truly has so many surprising, mysterious, and jaw-dropping rooms in this Chateau ai have ever seen. The dungeon truly was fabulous and yet mysterious and in some ways frightening! As you see one can have various feelings as you move through. Love many of these rooms as they were absolutely gorgeous and holds the greatest potential. Can see tChateu becoming the most lovely of most.
Spectacular and thank you so much for this tour. Can see why it would be used for staging for a movie and o even think how the dungeon was used during the war makes this so special. can just imagine how this Chateau has been loved by many people and although you say it is not haunted: I think perhaps it is, but I think it is all god. No one will hurt you but they have memories not forgotten and they do not want to forget. Do thin in the dungeon though there is a few who did not have s good of a memory. But all in all, it is fine.
A lovely Chateau as Bed and Breakfast and they will be getting an opportunity to live in one of the most historical Chatreu yet. So many things to talk about and explain to visitors.

so so beautiful! No wonder you call it The Beau chateau! the painted ceilings beams and the decorative wall art were breathtaking. There is also so much beauty outside the chateau, found in natural decor of flowers, old trees and the mote. So idyllic, I especially loved the artistic way of filming some parts of the chateau and the beginning and ending scenes in the movie. The beauty of so much romanticism filmed so artistically, was at times breathtaking.

Question - do you have a catering kitchen in the Chateau for the weddings? Just curious whether you have to do all the cooking or whether outside caterers bring in. We didn’t see the Chateau kitchen, so I’m just curious.
We do have a kitchen, but we chose not to include it in the tour because it is quite simple and empty because the catering companies bring in their equipment for each wedding. We will be making a video about the wedding aspect of the chateau, so you can see all the excitement that goes into it each wedding we host 😊 thank you for your interest!

May I suggest your wedding chairs should be painted gold. The white curtains in the dining room could have a border(vertical) like on the ceiling beams. White is a cop out. When in such gloriously decorated rooms. The all white theme does not fit in.
Yes, these chairs are usually gold in the UK, Europe, et. al. Good catch! Good comments! This wedding/banquet room is very sterile and not inviting, gay and warm.

That is a great idea! It is extremely heavy though.. There is a very large fireplace in the Hunter’s Lodge, where we live, and we make massive fires in it. Maybe we can make it happen 👍
