- So I took my girlfriend to Costa Rica, I had no idea how epic it was going to be... This amazing fishing trip at the Zancudo lodge in Costa Rica allowed my girlfriend and I to experience some of the most epic things the country has to offer. Fishing for giant yellowfin tuna, sailfish, and tons of other species in one of the world's most beautiful locations. This amazing fishing in Costa Rica was some of my favorite in a long time. BKK, couldn’t ask for a better sponsor. IMO they’ve damn near cornered the market in so many fisheries. Between the titan swimbait hooks, the raptor Z, Viper 41, GT-Rex trebles, the lone Diablo inline singles, and their absolute nuclear Deep Jigging hooks. It’s funny I’ve been using their stuff for like 10 years when I first saw the BKK 6066-5x trebles. Really the first thick shank, big game treble with points that were tapered laser beams.

Great video Ryan! What an absolutely amazing trip to be able to share with your loved one. Christina was amazing in being able to land a number of beauty tunas. That drone shot of the sunset was breathtaking. The disappointment in Christina’s voice when she caught that Smalley on day two. Lol.

I never knew about them making their own sabiki's! I also didn't know you could get them on a hook alone. Always thought the holographic material was the key to sabiki rigs. Going to have to try this

@15:54 with the missed gaff shot you almost had a broken rod, I've seen it before. That is one reason why you want your rod higher so that tip is further away from the gaff.

I am flying out to chase the blue fin 21st June. They are still around the coast of the UK.. Heading down to Portugal, North Africa. Maderia, Canary islands.. They won't let you catch them in UK waters. So Morocco. Hopefully won't miss them again this time.

It could handle giants to any size really. It’s more about the size popper you’re using. I don’t like throwing the huge poppers so 150 is preferable for me
