I lived in Kununurra in the early 90s ,Built a humpy on the banks of the Ord river where I lived for 18 months. Made a spectacular trip to Kalumbru in an old Holden with my mate. The old landing strips from WW2 in the bush. One place had hundreds of 44 gallon drums with USMC stenciled on them. The first mission ,crocks and Barra. Really is a land made for adventure. Brought back a lot of great memories. You can gain and lose many things during the course of a life time. But the memory of an adventure is a precious place to be able to visit. Really enjoyed the video.

Cool man very unique to retrace the steps of Aviators. Its truly amazing to see what someone can accomplish out there knowing that most within the first few days would die from dehydration.
I have to say that guy with this boat offering you food and stuff knowing he had heard you were out there was kinda wrong for that knowing you hadn't seen real food in days and were trying to accurately recreate their journey. For you to turn him down flat out immediately when he offered knowing how hungry you had been took a lot in you and showed great resilience and for that I say you deserve respect for.

Mate, I lived up there for a long time. You've got big balls going out there on that raft alone. Bravo on a great story and great cinematography.

Wonderful movie. In days when short style videos are the norm, to be caught up for an hour...
Was my pleasure. Thanks for a great piece of work.
