My 2011 D4 with 260k km, still no squeaks or rattles. Also leather on seats still in very good condition. Still very comfy ride. Most likely RR's have even better ride and quality. People are afraid of the air-suspension, but It is very comfortable and practical. Also it's pretty robust and doesn't break that easy. Still have original struts. Only thing I did - replaced air compressor @ ~ 210k km.

I didn't think the rear diff was offered for the 6-cylinder SE model. I also saw the customizable programs on the screen. That's not offered on the standard or the long wheelbase 6-cylinder SE model. Was this a European version they loaned out? I'm currently in the process of ordering the 6 cylinder SE model but there just isn't the option to select the customizable off-road programs or anything related to an "off-road" pack that would include the rear-diff. Awesome guys! Not sure if that's on loan from a dealer or LR themselves but if LR says their vehicles can go offroad, you should be taking them offroad and letting them put their money where their mouth is. If you cant take a vehicle offroad because you're afraid of damage from a 4" rock, than its not capable offroad at all.

    • @MercOne

They're finally trying after 50 years of junk interiors, but they're so far behind so it's going to take time for them to get to this level, if possible.

Again they have alllllllll this capability, tools, and tech behind them. But there's no option to even get smaller rims and all terrain tires with more sidewall. The tires will ALWAYS be these things limiting factor. For how expensive these are there should at least be the option to pick if you want something like that if you wanted to order one.

      Very unfair comment.
Every new model RR is an evolution from the previous model.
      This is the same again.
U obviously have not properly checked out this new RR
      Totally new car.
Yet retains the unmistakable RR styling cues etc.
It’s very sleek / flush / smooth and no sharp edges.
So much more refinement, in many ways.
      Real wheel steering is available
      7 seat option now available
SWB / LWB & different engines etc
So much ability to pick a spec and customise it to your specific requirements etc

The thing about Rovers is that they take a complex 4WD system and toss it in a car frame, just for it to spend its life on a mechanics lift.

You will know the durability of these is laughably bad when you realize that Land Rover builds these cars to last just long enough for when the first owner trades them in after 4 to 5 years for a newer model. Lol look @ 3:22 the door handles are stuck in the open position whilst driving. Land Rover the KING of unreliability.

    • @Keoponloeu
