    Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar resort is part of the large Iberostar Complex. It is about 30-40 minutes south of the Cancun airport. It is a 5 Star, all-inclusive, family resort. There are 5 resorts within the Iberostar Paraiso Complex; Del Mar, Beach, Lindo, Maya and the Grand. Guests at Iberostar Del Mar can enjoy their resort and they are also welcome to use any of the facilities at Iberostar Beach.
    All of the resorts share a central common shopping plaza area with shopping, entertainment, and food options.
    There is a long stretch of Paraiso beach that the resorts share with plenty of seating and palapas for shade. It is a bit rocky so bring water shoes if you plan on swimming.
    Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar is the most budget friendly resort within the complex. It is not about high-end luxury; it's about taking a family vacation with a reasonable budget. We walk you through some pricing and some things to watch for in order to get the best deals.
    We show you what the all-inclusive package includes, the different suite options available, the restaurants and menus and more.
    We show you how to find out which resort buildings house the different suite categories.
    We show you the beach and what the seating looks like and the different activities that happen on the beach. We also show you the beachside snack shack.
    We show you around the huge pool. It is shared between guests at Iberostar Beach and Iberostar Del Mar.
    We also show you the different restaurants and the buffet as well as what the menus look like.
    Guests at Del Mar are able to use the facilities at Beach resort as well as their own resort. It gives you a lot of bang for your vacation buck!
    When possible we try to film the resort early in the morning so as to respect people's privacy and have as few people in the shots as possible.

    Thank you Nancy for another useful video! 🥰 You mentioned that beach area of Iberostar Paraiso del Mar is rocky. What about beach area of Iberostar Paraiso Grand? Is it rocky as well?

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  9 месяцев назад +2

      Grand is not too bad at all. Definitely the nicest beach area. We found a nice beach entry area to be between the Grand and Maya near the kayak hut.

    Is the water from the refill water stations filtered? I had a bad experience last year at cape verde 😢 and Im kinda scared it happens again 😵‍💫 about food and water...

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  8 месяцев назад +2

      Yes it is filtered from the refill stations. I am prone to stomach issues from water and I never had an issue. I make sure to not use the tap water for anything, including brushing my teeth just in case.

    Which do you prefer beach or Delmar? Can you use the beach and loungers att the other Iberostar like Lindo?

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  6 месяцев назад +1

      I prefer Beach but it comes down to price for me and which suite upgrades are available. The beach is fairly open to most everyone. (You can't use the Grand beach areas.) The other resorts within the complex are not open to guests of Beach and Del Mar.
      Keep an eye on pricing. I have seen Maya come in at less than Beach every now and again. The pricing really fluctuates! 😊

      Over the past couple of years, sometimes they check us and more often they don't. They are seriously ramping up enforcement going into the holiday travel season. Just fyi.

    So you can book an al acarte reservation and eat free depending on how many nights you’re staying?

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  7 месяцев назад +1

      It is an all-inclusive resort so basically that means that for each night you book, everyone in your room can enjoy a la carte restaurants (with reservations) and buffets, activities, drinks and snacks. All day & All Included in the nightly rate.
      Hope that helps. 😊
      Oh! I just heard that del Mar can also visit Iberostar Beach restaurants. Double check the website and look at the details under "gastronomy" and you will see it. ☺️

      Yes, it is a sad and TERRIBLE thing. They have found tainted alcohol in many countries. My heart goes out to the families this has affected everywhere -Mexico, Dominican, Costa Rica, Brasil, Indonesia and more.

    My personal opinion is Iberostar is not good at all. Bad customer service and unfriendly staff.

    • @newtravelescapes
      @newtravelescapes  8 месяцев назад +1

      It really does depend on your context and experience. It is a much less expensive resort. Your experience is almost always relative to what you pay.
      I found it to be a good bang for your buck. We didn't find the staff unfriendly and I'm really sorry that you did. I don't blame you. Bad service can really ruin a vacation.
