Haha I love this reaction video. So wonderful seeing in realtime the Whitney joy impact 😂 She truly was such a treasure and this is such an under-appreciated song
I had no idea I was going to cry watching this right now, specially since I've known this track since it came out. I guess it hit me different at this point in my life. I feel appreciative.
Whitney's voice is a human treasure. Dead or alive, she is for sure the best female voice in music history. Whitney Houston was a born star. she was a gift from mother Nature The golden standard of a females voice. everyone wishes they could sound like her, men and women. The world's greatest singer. Whitney is a master of all the techniques, 1) resonance, 2) Vibrato, 3) Colorature 4)inflections 5) scaling up and down 6) natural 7)falsetto or soft soprano for a woman 8) throat, diaphram and head singing 9) Crescendo and decrescendo and breath control 10) staccato and perfect diction Than to top THAT, she was also physically the MOST beautiful singer to ever exist as well

This is a cover of Annie Lennox's original, for Whitney's movie 'The Preachers Wife' after the Bodyguard. I'm Whitney's #1 fan, lol...and she cut loose here having fun loading it up w/all her signature vocal nuances....playfully throwing in high-notes at will, almost cheeky of 'well I can whenever I want', those shoulder bounces, etc. This is my go-to motivational Nippy tune, Nippy being Whitneys nickname her mother called her by. 1st reaction I've seen, for one NO ONE ever reacts to this song, so I couldn't subscribe hard enough, lol. 😂❤
Great choice to finish with. Also one of my fave Whitney songs. There are loads of great live performances of it though that would have been nice to see.
So funny that the guy on the left is immediately bobbing, then on the right it slowly ticks in pretty early on, but then by the end we have headbangers haha

Wtf Ryan! Don’t get me wrong. I love this video and song, but come on. What a disappointing way to end this epic Whitney LIVE week. Anyway, I definitely subscribed because of this Whitney week. I love you guy’s analysis. It was so fun to watch.
Analysis is a generous word to use with regard to yt reactors. Go tell you comment to the Whitney stans trying to get on me for expressing what many people have reiterated as well.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVE this song but what a wasted opportunity to showcase some of Whitney's finest live performances. I will say the first 5 LIVE reaction videos were incredible. But oh well! Ryan's money, Ryan's choices. So I'll shut my piehole and move it along 😭

As much as I DO very much enjoy this song, we've only got five slots and you want to use the last two on deeper cuts. Really, Ryan? This is a cover from Diva (1992). Not to mention Whitney's music videos were never exactly her calling card.
great song terrible video. whitney with heavy dark make up, bad lighting, standing on a box in an unflattering trench coat. stylist should be blacklisted.
This song is so underrated, doesn't get enough love.
❤❤❤
Totally agree
Hands down, one of my all time favorites from Whitney, along with “So Emotional” “Im Your Baby Tonight” and “My Love is Your Love”.

This song was off the Preacher’s Wife soundtrack. That soundtrack was so freaking awesome! You have to hear Whitney on that album!

Ryan with the plot twist of having a non-live song as #1. Never would have seen this coming
Written by Eurythmic's wonderful Annie Lennox 😍
I love this song ❤ step by step
it was written by Annie Lenox and the remix is is even better and it's from the best selling gospel album of all-time the preachers wife sound track.
Lennox wrote and recorded it for her album Diva. It was released in Japan. Whitney's version is a dance cover.
Her voice and beauty 🔥💗
I saw this live version and she was amazing. She loved a good Annie Lennox song, she was rocking to it doing so many adlibs. Amazing song
Awwww, my mom always used to play this 🥲

I have a multitude of beloved Whitney Houston songs, making it challenging to select just one as my absolute favorite.

It's probably one of her most underrated songs. Like, the _how good it is_ vs. _how many people know it_ ratio is incredibly off 😂 it's just great
