    This was helpful. I have weakness and foot drop. I know that foot drop many times does not get resolved, but as you said, we are all different. Thanks for all of the information.

    I was diagnosed with DDD at L4/L5/SI probably ten or so years ago. I had a left hip replacement a year ago. My back pain got worse after hip surgery. Now dr is suggesting surgery.
