Thanks SO much for this video. I’ve had my 2023 Venza since February of this year and this pop-up has been driving me batty. I’ve researched and researched and tried to fix it. I finally came upon your video, bought the adapter and was able to fix the irritating pop-up. Many thanks.
I took my 23 RAV4 hybrid into the dealership for a service but also because the infotainmenthead unit goes into a constant reboot cycle every 4-6 weeks. This means that nothing on the head unit works. The dealer put it on their computer for one and a half hours but couldn’t get the Toyota firmware update to install and the “ Tech “ didn’t know why or what to do. Great, the radio and all the settings etc on the head unit doesn’t work on a 17 month old car ( Limited trim level so not cheap ) so maybe let’s make excuses for another year and a half and then tell the customer ( me ) that I have to pay $5000 out of my own pocket to fix a problem that should have been fixed under warranty.
Can this be done for a Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid in Europe also? The site doesn't seem to be finding my VIN number or says there is no update for my car model
I’m not sure if this same procedure will work on that car. The issue that caused this was apparently very specific to a batch of Audio Units made for Japanese built vehicles late last year and we haven’t seen this recently. Try it and see

Sir i have brought a new 2023 RAV 4 XLE. Suddenly its multimedia screen is rebooting after every 5 - 10 sec. Could you please suggest me how to fix this. Also getting one error as " To keep your account secure we closed the PIN entry sign in due to in activity Please try signing again."
That isn’t good. It isn’t normal either and I don’t have a consumer level fix for the rebooting. Your dealer needs to see this. The sign in thing is odd as well but might just require signing out and then back into your app. If all else fails, do a system reset (under settings- privacy and security). That cancels all subscriptions so only so that if you’re still in the free trial time
I still cabt get the pen drive with an adaptor to get recognized in my car. The adaptor works on tye laptop. Does the pen drive need to be in a particular format?
Hmmmm… I don’t think so. The good news is, dealers note know how to clear this and it is usually pretty quick. I’m surprised it isn’t recognizing it though. That’s odd

I showed it to more than one expert in electronic screens in Iraq and it was not repaired. How do I disable the updates? I have been told by the dealership that the car will auto update by itself.
