I know this is an old question but seeing how many people liked it.. I assume you mean the gap from which she turned the band inside out. In this case you would most likely close the gap stitching by hand using a ‘slip stitch’. Worth noting some people would just iron the band flat and not bother about the gap.
Im sure you could make it work. Ive never used a serger but i think it would make the work faster. Just be careful with knit fabrics because it always sews differently than cotton. Good luck!
This is what I want, because I want to embroider the fabric. I think you’d have to include a section (that would end up at the back of your head when you’re wearing it) that has elastic sewn in the middle. My only question is will the bow turn out as cute if it’s not made with elastic fabric?
is it possible to make this top knot headband using fabric glue or fabric tape. I dont have sewing machine and this is the type of headband my daughter wants for my granddaughter. not sure if i'll see your reply
Your machine isn’t coping well with stretch, the stitches are too loose and your machine is skipping stitches - it would be worth having a look at the settings and you will get a neater finish
@@bekaburgdorf3001 My Janome MC9900 has a clear bobbin cover. In this video, there is NO bobbin cover at all. That's what made my blood run cold seeing all that muck going directly into the bobbin assembly.
I've been looking for this! Thank you!
What did you do to close the gap?

Hi! Requesting a tutorial on a pair of piggie tail bows and also on the round top knot bows (unicorn style).
Super
Is the size chart you showed include the extra inches after the head circumference?
That's what I was going to ask. Did you get any answer?
sweetbaby Di I did not receive a reply no
@@emmabyam4123 i already tried three of those an yes, the measurements include the extra inches. They look great
@@sweetbabydi15 Are the dimensions of the fabrics in cm or inc?

Alanb T no, glue will not be able to stretch with the fabric

Those stitches look so loose.
lol...that white thread with pink fabric though. Ugh
It makes my blood run cold seeing you sewing without the bobbin cover.
Some machines have clear bobbin covers. First time i saw one like that it caught me off guard pretty good.
