Not 4 years ago, but same. Got a lot of compliments for my extremely clean looking form since discovering this channel. And I love the quick growth that actually comes with proper execution.
I learned from Calimove to make a hollow shape with my spine at the end of the upward movement. It makes a lot of difference in terms of effort and muscle activation. This channel is a gold mine of fitness.
I have started bodyweight training from a week. This is one of the best channel with great and detailed information. Love this channel . Thanks much brothers✌️
After going through my work injury which led me to a curvature on my spine a few years back, I realize the mind body connection is the most important thing you need to get down before any workout. I agree with this, but their are minor exceptions; very minor. The perfect form is based off a mind body connection. It depends on what specific muscle you're targeting and how you plan to do it. Sometimes that requires being in a "weird" position so long as you don't over do the movement and learn how to listen to your body and balance your body. Only you will know what muscle you're actually targeting based off how it feels for you. Biggest problem in any type of workout is most people lack a mind body connection. Thanks for the videos
Your videos quality are phenomenal. I like that you always include an easier way to do an exercice so you can work your way up in a safe way without comprimising results. Thanks

@@MrNiMo in world records u just need to make 90 degree and then go up till ur arms are straight this is the same with the army. 90 degree push ups are considered a regular push up but touching the ground with ur chest is good for excersice it's not really necessary to touch the ground but it's good for excersice
That wide push up bit genuinely surprised me - I was one of the ones that thought the wider you go the more you work the chest. Will try to incorporate more narrow grip push ups. Thanks!

I think the knee push up is good for those who do the push up for the first time especially women. they will progress to extending their body forward extending the legs away from the knee as their arms become stronger; then progress to complete full straight leg and no more knee on the ground.
