nice video! i feel like both dewalt and stihl prioritice cutting speed in big diameter wood over a light weight saw that has great handling. it works if you use the saw on the ground and in the bucket maybe. but while climbing i will always chose the husqvarna. chain speed, great handling, feeling little of the weight is just more important than cutting big wood for an electric saw. ill rather switch to the 500i 2 cuts earlier than struggle for 100 limb cuts prior to it.
Those On/Off switches are a pain in the ass. I run the Milwaukee top handle and I love that saw. Plenty of power, weight isn’t bad for me anyways. No On/Off switch. Plus I have tons of Milwaukee tools so I have lots of batteries from the big 12ah, 9ah and several 6ah. I like the 9ah for what little climbing I do now that I am old and retired. The 12ah is great for ground work.
Ya I seen that. I cut these trees down two weeks ago. August beat me to the punch. As soon as I seen he posted the review I started editing this video.
Luv watching your videos. Very smart on what you and your guys do, but you’re not “impressed with yourself” ; if that makes sense to ya. More videos the better, without not being safe. Thnx…🤙🏻
Technically wouldn't using that motorized ascender on your climb line be a risk if the motor somehow melted or burned up the rope? I don't know anything about this by the way - I just speak as a person who has burned up those ropes they use for winch cables. I remember how it melted through the rope when it got stuck, and it happened really fast. Faster than I could react to.
The 60v and the Husqvarna mk2 gas saw weigh within half a lb of each other fully gassed full bettery. I weighed them. Kinda impressed. The bar is made by Oregon, it's essentially a speed cut nano bar, it accepts speed cut nano .043 guage chains. You must be running that chain really loose or something. I've never had the chain on mine pop off so easily and frequently like that. Does happen though, just not to me with that saw as often as the video makes it seem that it would. Yep.
Guilty of Treeson has the limb reaper. But August and Damien are also both great climbers. I watch all 3 of y'all plus Bucking Billy Ray.

It's getting it done for sure! I looked up yhe weight. It's 19.85 lbs with the 14 in bar.
Ya it cuts. We like it for ground work.
Love your videos! Great job Tim!
so wonderful beautiful video my best friend i love it see so nice
Crazy limb through the tree. Very cool climb.
Great work
Thanks 👍
Enjoyed the video. Don't care for the DeWalt E-saw. I use an Echo 2500T & Husky 540i for limbing and topping.
Great job brother

I hope you're retiring to China 🇨🇳 since you support their tools you do know Milwaukee is owned by China
nice block rigging Tim.
August also just tested the De Walt, I am absolutely not a dewalt fan. Milwaukee above everything for me lol

@@VeteranTreeService 🤣 better luck next time.
So you are supporter of China 🇨🇳 since you support them by using their tools
The limb reaper is Jacob Rodger’s …. But August gave Jacob the bar and chain for it
You need to try the Milwaukee battery saw next. Use the top handle one
Sounds good. Milwaukee, send me the saw please.
@@VeteranTreeService M18 Milwaukee 2826 chainsaw. It has the 14 inch blade. It’s not a lot but I’ve heard great things about it
Nice work! Have you tried the echo battery saw? It's the only one I like because it's light.
I haven't tried it. If echo sends me one I will though.
How come you didn't undercut any of the limbs that were giving you grief?
Luv watching your videos.

Looks like homeless despot has the saw and 2 batteries for $750.
it looks like the bar flexes to much
You mean fir cones.
have you used the Makita Battery chain sew
Nope
i have heard that thay are good but not used one
not a video, but just an advertisement for a saw.
I feel like there more disigned for home owners
Ya. It's still a solid saw. We used it today on some logs and it was cutting!

Great info! Thank you
I'll stick to gas saws, thank you.
