I have Dewalt tools and batteries, so when I wanted a saw, I bought the DeWalt and am perfectly happy with it. Besides, the Milwaukee is just too big for my intended purpose. I'll use my gas saw if I need to cut bigger.

I own the Dewalt and used the Milwaukee recently. My favorite battery saw is the Black and Decker. But it's the chain that does the cutting the rest is personal preference!
I subscribed to your channel. Great content!

i run milwaulkee tools, love them, the saw is plenty powerful for home cutting, and ive done field work with it and it performed with the gas saws no preblem, invest in the 12.0 batterys and you will love this saw.....

I've had my DeWalt 60v since 2018 and a Makita 18vx2 since 2019. Unless I NEED a long bar I set them aside and enjoy the performance improvement from reduced friction of smaller bars. My Makita got a 12" bar off my deceased small DeWalt and I also run those on the DeWalt so I've the same bars and chains for both. It takes minutes to throw on a longer bar when required. The shorter the bar you can run on any chainsaw the better it will perform thanks to reduced load.

I didn't even think of that, u was gonna buy the big 60v and this 12" because I have lots of small messy cuts to do and once every few weeks I need big clean cuts, I could just get the big 60v and a small blade and swap between them

Hi Steve. I almost wish I hadn't started watching these electric chainsaw reviews because I am a Milwaukee guy and everyone seems to agree that the Milwaukee chainsaw isn't as good as the competition, you included.
Being that all my stuff is Milwaukee, and more importantly I like Milwaukee's color scheme the best, I have elected to get the Milwaukee. Whichever brand you decide to invest in , you'll find that some DeWalt stuff is better than Milwaukee, and some Milwaukee stuff is better than DeWalt. In the battle of the chainsaw, it looks like Milwaukee has lost.
But that's ok, Im not an arborist or anything, so I don't really need the best chainsaw on the market. I am confident that this Milwaukee unit will suit my needs well
    Nice video

I’ve got that Milwaukee and it’s a powerful saw. It’s slightly heavier (lbs.) than my Makita but the Makita has less power, so I use it for the smaller cuts and high limbing and the Milwaukee for the heavier cuts. Great combo.

Both saws work great for different reason. I bought the DeWalt to fit in the cargo box for my SXS and it's great for cutting down tree branches one handed. The Milwaukee is great for larger trees around the yard.

Bingo on one of these for off roading... I have the flexVolt version and I haven't pulled out my gas saw for like three years as, for what I do, it will handle. I also have M12 tools mostly for the travel trailer and camping. I got the M12 little chainsaw and it is a very useful and "handy" tool... And it fits anywhere. You will definitely want the 6.0 AH battery for that but it also is great for the inflator and grease gun and the other tools. But I have taken down trees roughly the size of the 12 inch bar with the DeWalt and a 9AH battery...

    • @TwistedToolbox
      @TwistedToolbox  3 месяца назад +1

It does work great for camping too. My other SXS has a chainsaw mount and I have a gas chainsaw for it and it always leaks and makes a mess in the cargo bed.

    Great video .
That was one of the best I ever seen I think you help made up my mind on what saw to get the 20v DCCS620 because the 8.8 lb easy to move around and I am old so when the battery is done so will I be done we will make a good team lol my son got the milwaukee 2727-20 it a great saw but the milwaukee is about 15 lb I think with battery not shore about the weight but a lot heavier to know in my time I use a lot of chainsaw one time the bigger the better but that changed know smaller for me I love all chainsaw because when I was younger I bilt a 40' x 16" long liner fishing boat with a chainsaw an a axe squared all the trees with the chainsaw in the woods so I could make them light enouf to bring them home on a skidoo and slay every every Pease of timber and beam was cut squared in woods even most of the planks
I fish that boat of shore over 100 mils that boat is still in the fishery today bilt with a chain saw the hardest Pease to get was the stem and the keel it was done just my brother an me back in the Earley 1980 l had not much money but I had a enough to get a chainsaw it was a Mcculloch Pro Mac 10 10 that put me on my feat love chainsaw thanks for the nice video staysafe

    • @TwistedToolbox

Both work great for different reasons. If you need it smaller like I do to fit in the cargo box, I'd say DeWalt. If you want to cut down larger branches, I would say Milwaukee. If you already own a bunch of batteries, I'd would go with the brand you have already invested in.

What’s interesting about (you people) & your alcoholism is that just a few years before the infamous potato famine, Ireland was the site of a massively successful temperance campaign led by the noted Catholic priest, Theobald Mathew. So successful was this campaign that between 1838 and 1841, their national alcohol consumption was cut in half.

@@ikemontel2465maybe he's looking for someone to do the right review this is definitely a terrible review he's comparing dewalts cheapest chainsaw the Milwaukees high end chain saw.
If he would have compared the milwaukee to dewalts DCST972 or the baddest electric chain saw ever made by dewalt the Dcs677 that would be a good review. The dcst972 will shit on any Milwaukee chainsaw and the dewalt Dcs677 it would shit on all them easy.
