I am from Medan, but this dictionary is probably the closest that we have to Medan Hokkien, despite minor differences. I was envious that Taiwan has iTaigi but am glad that someone from Penang made this dictionary as well.
Very useful resource, great job! There doesn't seem to be an option to search with Chinese characters in the dictionary any more. I select Mandarin from the drop-down menu, but it returns "found none" for every character that I search.
I have to sheepishly admit that I need to do more work to improve on the Mandarin search option, oh, if only I have more time to improve on it. Presently, many characters do indeed return a "found none" result, and I do apologize for that.

In Penang, many young people are still able to understand Penang Hokkien, but because many parents use Mandarin to speak to them, many are not that comfortable to speak Penang Hokkien. Also, Chinese schools often forbid the students from speaking Penang Hokkien in school, so the language is look down upon by many young people who do not know the history of their parents' language. I hope that I will be able to teach more people, particularly the young people to know the history and to love Penang Hokkien, because it is part of our identity. As I do not go to Chinese school, and I do not speak Mandarin, Penang Hokkien is the only Chinese language that I know. Penang Hokkien is part of Penang's culture and heritage. It is spoken not only by Penang's Hokkien people, but also by the Teochew, Cantonese, Hakka, Hainanese and others, as our lingua franca. To lose this language would be very sad for our culture.
