He seems to have a sense of entitlement to mow everyone (but Magnus) down reacting badly to being beaten. Going forward he needs to get used to losing lol. The new generation are coming and they will be winning more and more. He will be in decline

Sometimes chess can be exhausting. After my blitz tournaments i usually just pass out senseless as soon as i get home. Making a recap on top of 9 rounds of such high level play would be superhuman performance, let alone the three days of rapud that already took out loads of emotional and physical energy.

Huge Hikaru fan but it's good he's getting humbled. I love Hikaru, but some of his fanboys just can't think objectively. Alireza smashing him in BCC, and then smashing him in both the rapid and blitz portion is nice to see after Hikaru was talking sh*t about his family after losing a chess game.

Did you know what is the funniest part of the Chess game?!
When the english translators were naming the chess pieces from persian, they put the word "VAZIR" which means "Counselor" or "Iranian first minister" to Queen!
    The problem is:
when a soldier reaches the last row of the chessboard, he can become a Counselor (VAZIR). Even if all eight soldiers reach the final line, they can become Counselor (VAZIR).
    What happened now:
They changed the king's advisor to the king's wife, and if any soldier reaches the last row of the chess, the king gets a new wife 🤣🤣🤣
    So embarrassing!

He screwed up, no doubt, but he also has done everything possible to show that he really can play, and hasn't cheated for over three years now.
