Fish can be incredibly high maintenance. Firstly, you need to get a properly sized tank, so please do research on what fish you’re buying. Assuming you’re getting a betta fish, 5 gallons bare minimum. Betta fish are tropical fish, and require a heater. You will also need a filter. For a betta, a sponge filter will do best. (You will need an air pump for the sponge filter.) Before getting the fish, you need to let the tank cycle. Cycling the tank isn’t very hard, but it can take a while. It is basically the nitrogen cycle that you learn in school. You need to introduce an ammonia source (such as fish food. It will decompose, creating ammonia.) this will then promote the growth of nitrifying bacteria which will convert the ammonia to nitrite, and then eventually nitrite to nitrate. Ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate are all toxic to fish, but nitrate is only toxic at high levels (over 20 ppm). You will need to buy an API master test kit in order to test your water. This cycle can take about a month or more to complete, and when it is complete you will be able to add the fish. You will also need dechlorinator. Tap water contains chlorine and chloramine, both of which are deadly to fish. Please do a lot of research before getting a pet!

Dogs are a lot of work. However, I disagree with you about cats. I have too. They're indoor cats only. They do not go out. They potty in the litter box. You do have to sift the kitty crab out. Probably once a week. You have to change out the whole litter box but I think cats are much easier than dogs and calves are very loving. They like to lay in your lap. They'd like to have their back rubbed they're just so cuddly and loving... I have a male cat who is 15 years old and a female who is eight. They are spayed/ neutered and neither one of them have front talons and they are my whole world❤❤❤

Or dog cats just change the litter box once a week, they have self-cleaning litter boxes and get a small little dog for her that you can just put on a leash and go for a walk. Just get a little animal little puppy like a Chihuahua.Or something and you just can put me in the wheelchair and take it for a walk and take him get some poop bags.I clean the poop , please
