      JESUS CHRIST died for you on a cross for our sins. 3 days after his death he resurrected and is The LIVING GOD. Repent from your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior in a prayer and also ask for the HOLY SPIRIT to come into you in that same prayer as well and have faith in CHRIST. You could come to Jesus Christ as you are, but once you accept Him, you have to become new, change, and be born again, and turn away from all wicked ways. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. God Bless You. JESUS CHRIST IS COMING BACK SOON.

    I have the new bullet journal v 2 and I’ve tested over 100 pens and inks and had virtually NO GHOSTING and NO BLEEDING! Amazing paper! I did not try stamps but I did try fountain pens, gel pens, brush pens and all worked beautifully! I’m glad I can love LT1917 again after having to quit using them after getting into fountain pens over the pandemic time. I have been in stalogy notebooks and tomoe River paper notebooks as they have been more fountain pen friendly. I know you are a huge fan of archer and olive, but that paper is too thick to be enjoyable for fountain pens and do not provide enough pages to have a bullet journal last for an entire year. I only use one book per year in bullet journaling. The lechtturm pen is too skinny to be comfortable. That’s a deal breaker for me. Thanks for this video!

    • @markyourpages

      Fountain pens in the LT is great. I got my first Lamy while in an LT and really enjoyed it. I wasn't a fan of the ghosting though. Personal preference though. I know it doesn't both everyone.
      That's awesome that you are able to get a whole year in 1 notebook. I've never been able to regardless of which notebook I have used. I have just come to accept it and don't fret if I need to switch it up mid year.

    This was so thorough and comprehensive. I now might actually purchase a 120 gsm Leuchtturm. Ive owned the 70 gsm LT but never finish them because the ghosting is so bad it literally drives me crazy. Ive always liked the notebook though so I would purchase it with a higher gsm and thicker page I think.

      It's a really great notebook, that's for sure. I always say that you need to try something before you say it's not the right one for "you". And I am finding that 120 notebook paper is different, for some reason. While the paper might be the same weight, I am finding that what the paper is made of, or how it is made, makes a big difference.

    Personally, I like to use my paper close to its limit. I have 300 and 600 GSM arches hot press paper that I use for heavy water color. But, if I am doing basic illustrations, I will use a stillman and Bern mixed sketch paper or something. So I do like the 120 GSM, but I like the regular leuchteurm a lot as well for daily use. For the 120gsm I may use my Pelikan m800 or something big and juicy like that. But I don't feel great using something that is overspecced for the job.

    • @markyourpages

    Hear ya on the index - I have repetitive things (like weekly spreads, running dailies, and free-form journaling) that I just use page threading for after the first instance, so the 2-page index hasn't been an issue for me in my current Leuchtturm. I just got the 120g to be ready when I'm done with the current journal, and I'm excited to break into it. The one thing I'm a little bummed about is that it has only 203 pages vs. 250 in my current version.

    • @markyourpages
      @markyourpages  Год назад

      That little extra page thickness adds up, but I’m personally willing to give up the pages for the thicker paper. The LT’s handle ink so well.

    I hate thick paper, and too thin paper too. It's very hard to find journals with 100- 120 gsm paper that aren't bright white and work well with fountain pens. I like a bit of ghosting. So this is a great new option. Thx for the review. Looking forward to try it out myself.

      Can I ask why you like a little ghosting?

    • @DieterPrivate
      @DieterPrivate 2 года назад

      @@XtianApi because it doesn't feel new? I don't know exactly, but I do like some ghosting. It gives the pages more character. I also don't like white pages, I'm more for cream or ivory ones, I think for the same reason.

    • @XtianApi
      @XtianApi 2 года назад +1

      @@DieterPrivate ah, interesting.
      I also like a bit of ghosting but I also don't know why. Cream paper is what I use as well. Pure white reminds me of school or work. It has no character.
      I don't use really really smooth paper either. I originally changed to leuchteurm from other brands like rhodia because it was sort of "worst" if you measure by RUclips. It ghosted more and wasn't as smooth. But, it felt more real.
      I tried my 120gsm for the first time yesterday. After a few tests of not really working the paper I got out my really wet nibs to"use" the paper to its fullest. It was cool. Using wet nibs with confidence feels good.

    I'm excited for this new addition, I used a regular Leuchtturm, but like you said ghosting can be a bit distracting. Does the paper in the new one feels noticeably thicker? I had an Exceed notebook from Walmart, where pages were quite sturdy, and I realized I prefer something with a lighter feel. Also, not sure if it's just the light in the video, but the color of the pages in the new notebook seems almost lighter than the traditional Leuchtturm?

    Brilliant video 🙂 I’m with Tracie and her comments. I have the Denim Leuchtturm pen and it is just far too skinny to be comfortable and the shape makes it worse. So mine got tossed away in frustration. I want to know what kind of ink you used for the fountain pen test, cus that bleedthrough surprised me a bit but was good to see a proper test of ink on paper. I need to buy one of these books, however, yet again we get hammered in the UK. The only online shop I can see it in right now is the offical Leuchtturm shop and they want £7 delivery so they can **** right off with that. Thanks 🙏🏻 MenWhoBullet for the review 😃👍🏻
