Like you, I don't care for the ghosting. When both sides are written on, it one can't see it anyway. I bought one of the 120gsm notebooks and do not like it. I journal in my bullet journal, as I don't work and do not have many appointsments or task therefore and the uneven line count in the 120gsm book is throwing me off. When I write in the regular dotted book, I can write on every other line and start at the very top. When I do the same in the book with the thicker pages, I always have a line hanging too much at the bottom or at the top. Furthermore the pape is whiter, which I am not too fond of either. I will gladly stick to the older notebooks and their beautifull selection of cover colours! Thank you for doing the side by side comparison. This was a lot of work you did, so thank you for taking the time!
Thanks for the tip of lifting the pen after each letter!! I’ve been trying hand lettering on and off for years and I always make my lower loops too thick so this tip will definitely help!! TFS🥰
Thank you so much for your review! I really love smooth paper, preferably 100gsm, but it's so difficult to find. I tried the original lt1917 and while I love the colour of the paper, and especially the light dots, it's too rough for me. So this might be my next purchase!
I’m glad someone else agrees that the shadowing from 80gsm paper gives a journal more character

Thanks for watching! 💘
@@randidotplans I just got my 120 gsm LT yesterday! Can’t wait to dig in!
It’s so cute. My handwriting is too big and not cute, so it would make these dotted books look ugly.
