Kioti built their own Hydrostatic transmission. Very Heavy duty.

So Stihl wanted zero turns and just has Briggs and Stratton rebadge some Ferris models as Stihl mowers. Kioti says we want mowers too, hey Kubota we want mowers from you... sad when manufacturers cant develop their own machines.

I definitely understand where you are coming from.
Interestingly enough, Kioti actually built this zero turn from the ground up. It is not a rebadged Kubota.

Kioti makes all of their own equipment. Tractors, zero turns, skid steers etc... none of that John Deere crap with Kioti.
