@@steventrojanowski3595 the diesel market is high, wait for it to drop a little than buy yourself a more reliable truck because in the end you’ll be spending more money trying to get a 6.0 to run than just buying a new truck
It will sound better with xpipe. True duals always makes it sound like it's clapping slowly even at high rpm.. but if u run xpipe out to one or duals.. it will make the truck sound like it's reving higher and better. 😁
It actually does have an xpipe it still has cats as well. It's 2.5"pipe into xpipe off the cats then 2.5" Duals into 22"x4" tips. I have a '96 F150 that does have TRUE Duals that does sound much more like what you are talking about.
I have a 2020 Silverado 3500 dually with the 6.6 gasser all I did for my exhaust is unbolt the muffler so it’s coming out from under the passenger door 🤷♂️ it was free…
Damn that sounds mean bro now only if ford would put this 7.3 in or the 6.2 back in the 1/2 ton that would sound so good in a raptor with trumbone exhaust

It actually still has the cats so I wouldn't mess with warranty and get a CEL. It is out of warranty now though. I'm really wanting to try it that 5 star tuner for it. It makes some decent numbers and improves shifting and throttle response.
@@GO-MAKE-EM-LOUD I know just with diesels it’s so much more than slapping on an exhaust , you have to reprogram the whole truck and block the egr off it’s such a headache I haven’t wanted to deal with yet
Beautiful. Have you done anything on it since then? I feel the wheel/ tire setup on these don't give them justice. Yeah I know for performance with a load/ trailer and the purposes it is intended for, the factory setup is probably ideal. However, if it isn't purely a work truck you could still get away with an aggressive setup. Even towing if you go with adjustable height hitches and be mindful of some details you will be okay.
I have added 35x12.5 Toyo MTs. Much better look and no scrubbing! I did lose about 1.5mpgs though. I plan on adding a 5 star tuner at some point but it is still under warranty for about another 10k.

What kind of exhaust setup are you running? My 7.3L should be built this month and hopefully delivered in May. I'm planning on running a borla xr1 and xr1 mini.
Mine is from Karnage Performance Exhaust in Anderson SC. It is Duals with an x pipe and a Karnage Performance series 1 muffler so it is the loudest setup. Also it has 2.5" pipes from cats back with 22" SS 4" tips which are way cooler than the 1 out the back corner. Now the truck sounds sick but it is a little loud in the cab. I'll try and make a video showing cab noise.

I agree. I've been done that road twice with my last 2 7.3 psd! Bad ass trucks but almost constant issues.
The diesels are what converted me to gas. I do miss all the torque and sound though 😕
You need the tremor air dam in front it's like 2 inches tall compared to.the monster they come with stock.
