  • My favorite technique for anxiety free precise winged eyeliner that should work for every eye shape!
    ✦ Product Links ✦
    The non waterproof pencil in this video was made by a lab for me as I’m trying to create the best liner for this technique. The closest I’ve found is what I’ve linked from the brand Jane Iredale. You simply need a non waterproof pencil that doesn’t tug the skin. Also, any preferred liquid liner will work. I find that layering too much of the liquid causes the eye to crinkle so get the shape with the pencil and set with one coat of liquid. As for the waterproof tight liner, Milani is the best I’ve ever found. I have the old packaging which used to be a sharpenable pencil. They put it into a plastic container, same formula. The blackest black that stays put with almost zero transfer. Hope this info helps lift your lids like it does mine! 😃

    The problem about plastic surgery is not the fact that someone decided to have it done, but when they lie about it and make others feel bad about themselves that they can not keep up with the competition. Honesty is the way. and you genuinely showed us how to do it. Thank you very much for that! You are a real icon! your example everyone should follow.

      I believe they should be honest, but how you feel about yourself is nobody else’s responsibility. There’s people who’ll look good naturally regardless, are they supposed to just turn ugly for the rest of us?

      @@chickenisindeedmystyle7316problem occurs when someone try to convince others about that their "beauty" or youngness comes from natural source when it is due to plastic surgery. because this is called lying and LYING is a problem in all cases. no one was talking about looks, this was about honesty and transparency especially when someone is with a great influence about such things.

    • @Pisces-1978

      A person choosing to have surgery is noone else's business. All aren't comfy sharing. Their lying about it has nothing to do with you. If it makes you feel bad that they lie...it's reality, hun, people lie. And they have the right to lie. It's their bodies. I don't want to sound like I'm being mean. I understand what you're saying. Of course it's irritating hearing Kylie say she never had her lips done. We all knew she did even as she continued to lie. The beauty standards of today are so insanely unattainable that we should all know it's ALL a lie. Instagram, Tik Tok, music vids, magazine covers...filters, makeup, AI...we need to learn to be satisfied with what we got.

    • @mikuenjoyerXD
      @mikuenjoyerXD Год назад +12

      For real, that term is way too saturated at this point people will argue what is, and, what isn't a "hooded eye" but like sagging skin makes much more sense and less confusion

    • @fighterflight

      But I have both and am wondering what the difference is or if it matters for this technique. I’ve always had hooded eyes but now that I’m older they’re more pronounced (ig skin is sagging). But she was talking about people who had a lot of makeup space when they were younger then the skin tends to sag? A lot of makeup space has never been me.

    • @keanuweaves2209
      @keanuweaves2209 Год назад +10

      Hooded eyes aren't the same as sagging eyes so why would they use that term? What a weird thing to respect.

    • @shaharfecher
      @shaharfecher Год назад +1

      It's not weird 🙄 it just show's you think you know it all.
      And what you know is common knowledge to everyone else.
      Well, I hate to break it to you. But a-lot of make up influence wanna be don't know the differences and say they have hooded eye when they really don't have it at all.
      So yes I respect her that she is knowledgeable about what she is talking about.
      Because people who don't know the difference can think that this is what they have and don't understand why it doesn't look the same on there eyes. And most of all if you don't have anything good to say then you don't have to say anything
      In my country we have a saying that say some time being silent makes you look much smarter than saying something like you did.
      You could just have just said the first sentence you really didn't need to add the second one to try to put me down.
      You really got the wrong person for that.

    Thank you so much for this tutorial.💗
    I used to have gorgeous big open top lids. I could do all sorts of make up techniques, and was often complemented on my eyes. Even by age 45 I had very minimal sag, and still pretty nice lids. So I began thinking to myself, “Wow, maybe saggy lids won’t be as much of a problem for me as I thought they’d be…. Oh, how blissfully ignorant I was.
    I am now 51 and in the past six years, my saggy eyelids have gone from “minimal” to MAXIMAL, in a major way! And it felt like it happened overnight! It’s like I woke up one morning to my lids screaming, “I can’t take it anymore!” and then watched them lay down on my face and die of exhaustion!🤦🏼‍♀️
    The worst part is, I can’t figure out how to do my eye make up in a flattering way anymore. I used to think I did my make up pretty well, now I’m thinking it was only because my face was a younger better canvas, making it easier to do.🤷🏼‍♀️☹️
    I love your content, all the history, stories, everything. After seeing this tutorial, I love you even more! Keep up your beautiful work!💗😁
    P.S. My profile picture was taken about six years ago. It was soon after that, my saggy-eyelid-armageddon started. And yes, I know it’s an old profile picture, I like the way I looked, and no, I don’t ever intend to change it!😜👍

    Oh Erin I just loved this. I am a woman who struggles with "the wing". I have tried several different techniques and liners but thus far nothing I have really gotten comfortable with or felt good about the result has worked. This little technique looks like a winner so I cant wait to try it out. I also am starting to notice the sagging eyelids as well as fine lines and shhhh wrinkles. That just between us girls tho 😂! I will be 51 in July and have always been into makeup. I find myself needing to learn these great lil tricks since gravity is no longer my friend.. haha!! Soo I certainly look forward to the next video to learn something new that will actually work. Just a suggestion but I also struggle w brows. I have a scar in my right brow and it seems impossible to even get cousins outta these gals! I would love something on how to fix this problem or give the illusion that its fixed. Its not so much as issue w having the scar its how it affects my brow and brow growth in the scarred area. Please HELP !!! As always your a joy to watch and I just love all of your content. A beautiful soul that shows inside and out !!! ❤🫶🤩🥰

    I'm so happy to have found this video! Last month I watched a video that recommended that hooded eyes not wear liquid eyeliner, which bummed me out, thinking my eye shape was no longer viable for liquid. The mapping technique with the pencil before the liquid is genius. I just tried it, and the liner on my left looks really good - the eyeliner on my right eye looks unhinged. This is defiantly a technique that will take some practice but now I can see on myself that it works! It's a gorgeous shade of blonde color that you have. ✨
