He's one of the few that actually plays it right and even on the karaoke ones they mess it up badly with a piano taking the lead in it . Elvis did do it that way live only which to me hurt the beauty of the song .I'm a stickler when it comes to keeping it original if possible so I only listen to the ordinal songs .I think it was John Wilkerson who did the original acoustical lead on it that made it so sound beautiful check it out and you'll see what I mean. I like Elvis's live performances but still stick to his original soundtracks for the raw flavor of them that made them and him what they are .
thanks for your kind compliment :D i do love the original version too. but it's, may be, hard to play the intro with classical-electic guitar on the stage, that's why they used piano to lead into the song. i tried to combine every single note on my only one guitar :P glad you like what i did, David
