Get the Rainer Arms Lower that takes the PSA Scorpion 35 rounds & other Scorpion standard 9 MM Magazines. That solves the issues with splitting magazines. Am speaking from experience as that is what i switched to on a SP9A1 blow back upper.
@@Murphy82nd I did not have any issues with the straight or curved Stribog factory mags. Just wanted to changed over to the Lower which took the Scorpion Mags, as they are so robust and easy to load, and are curved mags. I'd love to see some head to head comparisons between Stribog's roller delay system vs. CMMG's radial delayed system. It would ultimately come down to opinions of perceived recoil as the only hard data that could be compared might be stuff like bolt mass and overall firearm weight. Still, it would be interesting to get some opinions on the matter.

Those people are going to really appreciate these new Grand Power mags even if they're only 20 rounders.
In 2012, I shot an MP10. That design (roller-delayed blowback) had 2 different rollers for different power levels of 10mm. What is GP’s design for this issue?
I was looking for something just like this, one issue with it for me though.. Glock mags, I have a glock 20 and 29, I want a folding stock, glock mag pcc that isn't overly heavy or clunky (the vector). I was also hoping for a slightly longer barrel than the 20, which again, the vector fails.
James already sold me on the APC10 but I am curious what the recoil impluse is comparatively, for a gun half the price. B&T is Gucci and I love it but sometimes girls half the price are more fun?
First batch was just a little over 1k so in 10mm pccs oh yeah! They will likely come down a bit as supply increases but it's far cheaper than a blowback b&t ghm models and less than half of apc models. 10mm anything costs more, I don't know of any cheaper 10mm pcc options unless you did an AR and were stuck with a buffer tube to deal with and Glock mags similar to 9mm builds prior to companies releasing mp5/scorpion lowers "let's face it vertical or mp5 style mags slanted back are pretty ugly and are associated with the cheap ar9/garbo sub $500 smg style bufferless pcc type weapons. This accepting ump mags is great and may build a market for them since the only weak link for the earlier Stribogs were the mags.
They are comparing straight blowback to roller delayed, no battle rifle is straight blowback, so no comparison with roller delayed battle rifles would be relevant here. Gas can be gentler.
The question was about the magazines... some platforms use a magazine design that can hold 10mm or .45 acp, but the platform itself would be dedicated to one caliber or the other. You would have to do a barrel swap (i.e. a Glock 21 to a Glock 20) to run the other caliber. ;)

Not in a tight area it isn't. Blind and concuss yourself to fire a round out of a short barrel it wasn't designed for. 9mm PCCs offer you shouldering ability and better optic options over pistols while retaining compactness, plus mag/ammo compatibility with pistols, all while firing a round that's much cheaper to own, practice with, and far more versatile indoors than 5.56. If there's anything in this discussion that hits the "why would I do that" point, it's the 5.56 SBR. If you want an AR platform and a barrel that short, at least run .300blk or 7.62x39.
