- Azura, Queen of Dawn and Dusk, is one of the most complex figures in The Elder Scrolls universe. To her followers, she is a radiant guide, a “Good Daedra” who truly cares for mortals. But twilight is a place of illusions, and Azura's kindness often masks her jealousy, vanity, and thirst for devotion.
In this video, we explore Azura's relationship with the Dunmer - from the Chimer Exodus and the battle of Red Mountain to her involvement in the Nerevarine Prophecy. We dive deep into her plane of Oblivion, Moonshadow, and her enduring influence over the Dunmer people. Was she truly a benevolent goddess, or was her guidance a calculated move to ensure her own legacy?

Never heard anybody make a video shading Azura before- this is cool! Thanks for the content. Love elder scrolls!
Azura is as kind as a god can be, and she usually doesn't do wrong by her followers or to mortals unless you were asking for it
Who the hell let Vigilants in here?
Excellent writing and sound design, it's a shame this isn't more popular
"They made ritual as if to summon Azura as Nerevar wanted but Almalexia used poisoned candles and Sotha Sil used poisoned robes and Vivec used poisoned invocations. Nerevar was murdered."
But Azura came anyway...
Azura’s prophecy is literally
Some one from some where will be born get tired of the Ashlander quests and come kick your asses
Hircine the furry is better at making up “prophecies”
I'm just salty because I couldn't find the directions to the Cavern of the Incarnate
Azura really can’t give direction to save a life
Blasphemy!! Dare I even say heresy.
Can't trust any of the gods. Remember that there was order before they drove sheogorarh to madness.
I'm telling her you were talking shit
Accurate
Edit: this reminds me of a question that I occasionally get in my head. So with the reincarnation of nerevar does that mean his spirit was in azuras sphere of oblivion until the point when Morrowind takes place? And what about the other chimer and dunmer? We know for at least the dunmer that their ancestral spirits can be summoned for guidance at their tombs, but only nerevar seems to get the reincarnation treatment. And as far as I'm aware the only other person of significance that has something similar occur is the chosen of Meridia, Umaril the Unfeathered.
Azura is a covert narcissist
