benq gw2780 vs benq ew2780, which one would you recommend. I am not interested in gaming aspects, but I like to watch RUclips, Netflix, and other movie channels.
it's 2017's model. there many others late 2020's monitor like ASUS VY279HE says eye care+ on this price range or cheaper. Should I buy this old technology while my consideration is EyeCare. I have to use Computer for over 8+ hours a day, and my eyesight become poor day by day. need your suggestion.
The only issue I like to know is for 1080p on 27" monitor that you place on your desk, will the texts on documents/news articles/ebooks etc look pixilated? Great review and I just subscribed.
Ayyy Thank You bro! So for me, I have noticed the texts to be pixilated. The PPI is still good for a 27 inch. Better on a 24 inch of course but at this point, 27 inch 1080p in 2020+ is good and much better then before

Naa nothing that I noticed. Spiderman, God of War, and Warzone felt smooth to me

I don’t know if you tried playing any multiplayer games with this monitor, but how did the overall response time/input lag feel, could you notice anything substantial?
So this compared to like the EX2710, you won't see so much of a difference but there other stuff that the EX2710 is better at
Yeah I’m planning on using the monitor with my PS4 and eventually a PS5 and want to pick the one better suited to handle the tech. If it wasn’t for the 1ms response time and 144hz on the EX2710 I would 100% go for the EW2780. But if you said you can’t notice a difference in the response time then I might as well go with the EW over the EX unless I care about better HDR options right?
@@houndyr The main though is that the Newer Consoles will support a higher refresh rate and the EX has a much better color accuracy and is much brighter and that's more noticeable if you were to have it side by side

Just got this monitor and im using it for my ps4. Everything is just fine and its just good for budget. Everything is really great but did specs not meet the standards for gaming. I notice small ghosting since it has only 5ms but ghosting is not that big issue for me.

How's text at this resolution? I would be primarily using it for programming and reading docs, with occasional YT.
Text resolution is sharp and readable for a 1080p screen. Nothing like a 2K or 4K Display

Major thing would be the EW2780 has HDRi Support, HDCP 2.2, 75Hz compatible and better built in speakers.

The Black Levels are good. You can always change the Gamma. I have mine set to 2.4 to match my other monitors. You don't really see any huge noticeable light bleeding on the edges of the monitor which is good. It's not pure black but pretty close

No not really

Yea just the smaller version
But different PPIs. And hence everything looks better on EW2480 than it would look on it's bigger sized counterpart.

@@hugon6717 yes. More the PPI, better the clarity and definition.
Ew2780 has 82 pixels per inch. Ew2480 has 92 pixels per inch. If you go for larger screen monitor, you'll have to increase the screen resolution as well to get better picture. But then it increases the cost as well. 1080p is the resolution on both ew2780 and e2480. That literally means the standard full HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels is distributed over 27 inches and 24 inches monitors respectively. Hence the 24 inches monitor has more defined and precision clarity.
I personally use 27 inches monitor with QHD i.e., 1440p resolution.

It's an IPS Panel. IPS is better with Color Accuracy
This monitor supports HDRI not HDR10 this be one reason why some games don't work Xbox one x & some work on PS4 pro. If you done your research on HDRI & HDR10 you know this. Plus anything over 75hz is overkill for last gen console. I've this console & works a dream only budget but fits my needs. These two factors you failed to understand makes this video not trust worthy. All the best.
I’m going off from the Manufacturer site and BenQ states that it supports “HDR10.” I’ve also spoken to the team in meetings as well and they stated the same. That it is a “Budget Friendly Entertainment Monitor with Speakers and HDR10 Support” so if I’m wrong which I doubt that I am, then go after BenQ about it and not me but you do you.

Good reply. I've used this monitor for a while now. It is a budget so its HDR is 400 not 1000 otherwise 10. Why Benq used its own sensor tech to enhance it. The nits brightness alone tells you this. It's a good monitor for cheap price . But does have some draw backs. But good reply & thank you
