    I have been wanting to get into embroidery for some time, but the cost of the machines was WAY more than I could afford. I started looking into this PE800, and I am SO excited that I found it on Overstock and it's on the WAY!!!! With the sale, a coupon, my rewards points and free shipping, I got an "out the door" deal of an incredible $444 Lacresha!!!! Beyond excited and can hardly WAIT for it to arrive so I can start playing. Thanks for the information and for showing your great work!

    Great and real review. I started the same way you did. I made e several purchases of singer embroidery machines and like you they all went back. I now have all brother embroidery machines. I had no info when I started. Now ten years later there is so much help and information available. Please look up the baby’s booty RUclips channel (If you haven’t already) and Sew what Pro software. You are on you way to great embroidery and the self taught lessons will pay off. Congratulations on your new machine🙂

    That was SO helpful! I have a Janome 300E and I haven't been able to find any helpful information on it (no good videos, books, blog posts, anything!). I bought it used, knowing it was older, so I took a risk and I haven't been happy with it. I was looking at the PE770 but I saw a few mentions of the color screen on the PE800 and it seems worth the extra money. I think you've convinced me! I appreciate you sharing the whole journey and comparing your disappointments with your final machine choice. Thank you so much!

    I love the ways you explain us the truth of embroidery machines. I bought 625 but its not the only one I have a singer studio s10 that is 5x5 hoop. it is good but it worked with only JEF format compatible with Janome E300and its ok. And I know that some of the singers machines are a little dull.... I am proud of you that you made a great choice I wish you the best in your embroidery and make lots more videos. Bless you

    Great video. I have the Brother SE425 from my mom and love it but limited hooping size. She gifted it to me but didn’t know it only did small embroidery. I’ve been looking into a 5x7 hoop machine and considering the PE800. The Singer one you showed us horrible. I’ve never had good experiences with the Singer brand. Always ended up getting Brother for my machines. For the price that some of these machines cost they should come with a decent size display screen and software. I use Sew What Pro. It’s easy to use and affordable.

    I enjoyed your machine reviews and happy that you found a machine that you really like. I know people are down on Singers, but, I own a Singer Futura FQ-4 and a Singer SES 2000 which are embroidery/sewing combos. I really enjoy them. I’m pretty happy with the software. The hoop sizes are 5x7 and 6x10. Anyway, I might also look into the PE 800 to see what it’s like to not have to connect to a pc every time I want to embroider. I look forward to more of your videos. Enjoy your machine and happy embroidering!

      Cynthia Jordan Brown I really was hoping the singer would would work out. I loved their big hoop sizes and I also thought the stitches the machine stitch out was much nicer. When the machine stop working and the store did have another on hand, I figure I better get something with excellent reviews before I find myself mailing back a embroidery machine.

    I just saw your video 3 years late but your video is the most honest review of purchasing an embroidery machine. Thank you because your video has helped me to determine which machines to look into. I plan on purchasing one in the next couple of weeks and I have watched many, many videos. I do have one question: the final one you purchased comes with color like the Brother 625? I do want color. Thank you!

    Very informative. Your video has come at the right time for me as I have been exploring the possibility of purchasing an embroidery machine. I have been looking at Husqvarna Viking products as I have purchased two of their machines already; the S21 Serger and the Opal 650 computerized sewing machine. I'm impressed with your research on the Brother PE800 Embroidery Machine and will be looking into possibly making a purchase in the near future. I just saw your video for the first time today and subscribed. Looking forward to more informative videos in the future. Thank you so much.

    I literally just got the Singer supberb Em 200. The first one wouldn't even turn on, sent back for replacement, got the second one and first of all the touch screen is off so i have to constantly hit the screen in random spots, then when doing practice project the thread kept breaking, thinking I was a noob and had not clue it was my fault, I walked away came back finished it. Fast forward to project two the same design and the thread keeps breaking AGAIN..... Sending back and getting PE800 :)

      Jessi I truly understand your experience. As you can see I do not mind sending machines back but check these three things first:
      1. Try slowing the machine down. I know in order to stop thread breakage I could not have my machine go at full speed.
      2. Make sure you have your pressure foot up before loading or unloading the thread. Thread will get tangle if the pressure foot is down.
      3. The quality of your thread is a factor. Check this out by going to your local sewing store and buying 1 spool of their high quality embroidery thread and see if you get the same results.

    • @jessidavis7513
      @jessidavis7513 5 лет назад

      I tried those things, the thread fees like it’s getting caught around the last curve that’s where it’s super tight, in fact I broke two needles. It’s almost as the thread is wrapping around something, and of course it’s in the machine I suppose I could take the plastics piece off 😉

      I think it time to send it back.

    For example say I want to create a la dodgers logo on the front of a men’s shirt say size medium men’s shirt. Just giving a example of logo size.

    • @Nittyb123
      @Nittyb123 5 лет назад +1

      You should look into additional hoops. I have the Brother Innovis F440e embroidery machine, which looks exactly the same as the PE800. The same day i ordered my machine from the dealer i also ordered a set of hoops. 1x2.5 inch, 4x4 inch and 5x12. These are Brother hoops. The 5x12 is multi positional, and allows you to stitch out a design in 2 or 3 hoopings, without having to remove the fabric from the hoop.
