My first machine was Brother with smallest hoop 4x4". I upgraded to Ricoma 15 needle one, works like a dream. P.s. I am from Europe and my Ricoma 15 needle is the same price as the Brother 6 needle one, I definitely chose Ricoma, as it is industrial machine and hoop size included is 22x14" and you can bay even larger frame if needed. Definitely recomend Ricoma 🙂

I have been interested in doing embroidery but never adventured out. I am geared up to get into embroidery now. Trying to decide which machine to get and I can afford. Thank you so much for your advice. I will be watching your tutorials often. Have a blessed day.
I get a price from my dealer and then I drive to another dealer and get a price from them. Also go to the State Fair if Texas or your local states and they have a event that shows new machines and there r sewing store (s) that sell baby lock, brother that will be a showing newest ones of brother, babylock embroidery machines. They even do demo to watch. Go to several sewing or embroidery stores ask questions , check out all machines out now. Not sure when brothers big sale is might be in September. Biggest sales on babylock brand machines is in October. Learn all you can now till October from facebook groups, you tube, sewing stores. Many have embroidery club to join. Several do not charge a fee to go to them. Angela your doing great! I use to have your energy but that was so long ago. I’m never to old to learn something new. God blessed I & ya family.
Hi Angela! I'm hooked on your videos!!! I worked doing embroidery for a shop about 15 years ago, but I only did that for 1 year, because the shop went out of business. Watching you succeed and your charisma makes me want to get into embroidery again and get an embroidery machine to start my own home-based business. Thank you, thank you, thank you for inspiring us with your videos!
Thank you so much. I can also be your grandmother and you have definitely inspired me to start a little business. May you continue with wonderful success!
I started with a PE 400 years ago & moved up to Innovis 1250D..I lucked up on a barely used PE 1000e 10 needle..I gave my 400 to my aunt but kept Innovis since it sews also. I’m thinking I may invest in a mighty hoop but saving up for a hat hoop for PE 1000e. Your video have inspired me to get back to creating, been distracted by life & grandchildren.
Thank you so much for the great info! I’m loving my PE800 - you are the reason I bought it lol !! I’m so addicted! I’m so ready to buy a multi needle - went shopping for one and the newest one is pretty pricey but totally amazing!! I like hearing that you prefer 2 - 6 needles instead of a 10 needle- good info! Keep up the great work!!
Hi Angela!! I just started watching your videos TODAY. I really think you're amazing!! You really are an inspiration. I do not own any of these machines, but you sure made me want to purchase one! I love all the videos you've posted and I will continue to watch! Thank you so much for sharing all that you do with all of us!!!
Omg I was looking into ricoma all day! I thought it was a Forsure for me but after doing some research I’ve seen a lot of bad and shady things from the company. Can you tell me how your experience with the ricoma is? Do you like it and does it work like you thought? Thank you:)
Kingdom Tshirt honestly if I was u I wouldn’t go with ricoma. I have a couple friends that have ricoma and their machine went to shit. I bought brother. And I haven’t had any problems
Thanks for a great video.- Oiling and threading is what i would be interested in learning. i have a 6 needle and it is so intimidating and have not used since purchase. Thanks again for all of your wonderful videos,
Thanks Angela, I have a Janome 15000 but being a single needle it takes so long to keep changing threads, had a call from my dealer on Friday as he knew I'm looking to by a 10 needle, they had £1000 off the brother pr1050x 😁😁😁😁😁 it'll arrive in the next few days
I started with brother PE780D, had it for 8 years before my husband let me get Persona by brother. I wanted the Persona to do hats. The machine came with the hat frame. I had to get the Durkee fast frames, which have been great. It only has one needle and holds only 4 different colors of thread on top at once. I kept getting tired to changing thread. So after two years, my husband called dealer and they were willing to give us a deal on a baby lock and the stand free. I wanted to stay with brother, but he was giving us discount and a free stand. It also has the same PES designs. I find them easy to get a hold of if I have questions or anything. They are very helpful. Oh and this baby lock machine has 10 needles. And a bigger hoop. I do want to look into magnetic hoop and snap hoops for it. I thought my fast frames would work on it,but they don’t.
You seem to be the only one I’ve seen on RUclips who really knows what your doing. I want to start my own embroidery business starting off small and hats first. What advice do u have for me? And what kind of embroidery machine do u use for the hats? Also where do u order your blanks from?
Oh my! YOu sang my song in every way. I want to start my businees and I have the Brother 4500 and 6 needle. Yeah. really need help with six needle. Help! You are the bomb
Hi, you have inspired me for a long time. I would like your advice which machine to get for embroidery on a large area of fabric like six metre satin fabric.
I have a babylock enterprise 10 needle. I rarely use it and thinking about getting it serviced and selling it. I’ve had it since 2015 and unfortunately my work doesn’t look as good as yours. If I decide to keep, I’m thinking of getting the magnetic hoops. You do fantastic work
Dope. I have the Brother SE1900 and only did a few test stitches on it because i think I am going to break it somehow. Lol. But your videos are helping me so much.
Hi Angela, thanks for sharing this video. It helps me choose the right machine for my business after retirement. Hope to get more ideas/tips from your channel on how to get there. :-)
I am in a sewing group and have bought several machines cheaply on Craigslist from people who started this hobby and gave up after a couple of times using the machines and stuck them in the closet. I have saved a fortune over new machines!
I have a Babylock sewing machine and the Brother PE800 (thank you QVC!) and love both machines. However, for the past two months, after watching your videos and Eve from the Baby's Booty and EXTENSIVE research, I opted for the Ricoma EM1010 (delivery tomorrow)! While the Brother and Babylock are made in the US, as you said, you have to purchase through a dealer so you are not only paying for the name, but for the multiple "middle men" it has to go through. Also, they do not include the stand or cap driver and they have a much shorter warranty. In other words, though a Chinese machine, the Ricoma I got is half the price, has four more needles, includes stand, cap driver, cap hoop and station, has 24/7 support and a 25-year warranty. Now I am not trying to sell the Ricoma, I am suggesting anyone in the market for a machine should do their research (watching videos on the different machines is a good start) and make a checklist on what features best fits your needs and go from there. Thanks for all you do! 😀
Kimberly Armstrong, what other machines did you think about , before you make you decision about Ricoma ?? I am debating on which one to buy as well.. any advice will be very helpful ..
Gladys The top three I was considering seriously was Brother, Babylock and Ricoma. I briefly considered Redline. The "selling" feature for me on the Ricoma EM1010 is one where, with the push of a button, the hoop slides out to enable easy placement of fabric, etc for appliqué and then slides back in. I would suggest figuring out what you want to do with the machine, how many needles you want/need, etc. I am planning on doing apparel of all ages, including caps, and when I contacted my local Brother dealer, I found it quite off-putting when he made it sound like no big deal to pay an extra $2500 (the price he quoted me) for a stand and cap driver and when I asked if it at least came with a starter kit, i.e., thread, stabilizer, he replied "no, but I sell everything you will need" in my store. At that point, besides favoring the above-mentioned Ricoma feature, it was a matter of principle and my decision was made. I hope this helps and good luck!
Hi Kimberly. How much did the Ricoma EM1010 cost and where did you buy it from? Also, how has it been working? Does it stitch well? Any problems? Sorry for all of the questions, but I'm researching different embroidery machines. I have a Brother SE600 and NQ1600E. My little SE600 works without any problems. However, my NQ1600E has given me nothing but problems since less than 2 months of buying it new in January of 2019. We finally convinced them to replace my machine with a new one. I'm thinking of selling the new one and buying a multi needle instead. Thanks.
I’ll be picking up a new to me PR 6555 6 needle is Machine. Thank you for the tip on the mighty hoops. I struggled either decision on a 6 needle vs 10 needles. Can’t wait to see your video on threading
You can order from different states. I live in tx and got my first brother from Georgia, that was 2002 Maybe they have changed the way you can do it now.
Thank you for the Free99 knowledge! I also purchased your secret file! It was worth every penny!! I’m looking forward to adding a second embroidery machine and now I know how! You Rock!
@@TheSewCraftyTeacherwithAlisha how much cheaper? I'm on a budget and looking to start. I wanted to skip the single needle and jump right into multi needle. Eventually I will be getting it but I didn't know if I should wait

You are so talented!! Did you major in designing in college?? Do you have a video on how to download your designs to computer and put on usb?? Thanks for sharing and love your vlog!! Love the babies too
Great vid! I’ve been researching multi needle machines for awhile and this has been very helpful. Can you tell us in your next video how often you have your machines serviced, how you get your machines there to be serviced, and how much that typically costs you? These are some of the biggest concerns I have about getting a multi needle machine. I currently have a Brother Innovis 1250, which I LOVE, but I need to do bigger projects than a 5x7 hoop will allow. I typically have my machine serviced at least once a year and its costs me roughly $100. So being able to budget for these cost would help immensely. Thanks for all you share with us!
Interesting. I'm considering dabbling into embroidery. I have a vinyl heat transfer/plastisol transfer business now. I do alot of family reunion t-shirts, and t-shirt orders for my job. I developed a business model for my job, that I think could work. Buying an embroidery machine will allow me to create samples for presentation to my company, and when the big orders come through, send it out to my contract printer for mass production instead of taking on the labor myself. After a while, if your business keeps growing, you should consider the same. Good luck!
Love her energy. I’m working towards building my own clothing company & to benefit my community. I appreciate the video and insight into the embroidery machines 😁
I took a class when I bought my machine. The instructor said that you should change your needles after 8 hours of sewing. I've heard others say that certain problems that crop up while sewing can sometimes be attributed to dull needles. I can't remember which problems specifically, at the moment, but at the time I remember thinking that it wasn't necessarily something I would have thought to be needle-related if I'd encountered it.
Angela, would you please do a more detail video, on oiling, threading, bobbin setup, and programing the LCD screen on the Brother Entrepreneur PR670 Plus, thank you
Thank you for your videos🙏, I want to start my business from my apartment is your first machine the best to start with and how much money you made per month? Thank you love ❤️ 😘
Love, love your videos, they are very informative, as well as inspiring. Plus, you remind me so much of Marina Squerciati from the t.v. show Chicago P.D.
Another way to buy one is to ask the authorized dealer how much is your bottom line if I pay cash . Or ask let’s say you have x amount of money and & I will give you this amount for it ( especially if is is a trade in or going out of business or they are moving to another area and they can sell it to you and they don’t have to move it. Or you go to a show and they sell you the floor or show one on last day or you ask at the beginning of the show. You get the idea! Good look.
I am old enough to be your grandmother and am so inspired by your enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit! You go girl!!!!
Same here.

Thank you for your videos🙏, I want to start my business from my apartment is your first machine the best to start with and how much money you made per month? Thank you love ❤️ 😘
Great video! Does any of these machines do hats? If so, which is the best for hats and t-shirts? Thanks
Love, love your videos, they are very informative, as well as inspiring.
Plus, you remind me so much of Marina Squerciati from the t.v. show Chicago P.D.
Классная вышивалка! У меня Janome-350e
Hi Angela, love the video. Q: could you please show your oiling and changing needle routine. Thank you 😎
Yes I will do that!
@@AngelaJasmina hi Angela! I love your work. What are you going to do with those two? In case you want to give them away am waiting to have one!!
Damn things must be doing good with the constant consistent upgrades!
Good look.
You can always ask for lower price too.
Hi Angela first time seeing ur video so impressed and I want to to know more waiting for ur videos
Thank you
This isn't a machine question but I was wondering how much should you pay yourself and how much to put back into your business?
Ever heard of the 10% rule? Try putting 10% a month to the side for your business biweekly or monthly.
I've been waiting for this. Thank you!
Thanks so much! Answered questions before I could ask!
Thank you so much. Very helpful. I do embroidery by hand. Interested in the sewing machine.
Hello, are you able to use a mighty hoop thing on the Baby Lock alliance?
Hello, which embroidery machine do you like the best. Why did you chanced from the brother to ricoma or melco?
Oh goodness I wish I could have all your machines 😍
