Testing means it is testing the products itself and just making sure they all work and also test the sound. I does not bother the nest thermostat because it is not real. There probably is a setting to test the thermostat though.
you must test with with aerosol or real smoke so it will assume there is a real emergency but if you test it then it will assume there isn't a emergency
Sorry I know I am late lol. My Nest thermostat will shut down automatically when the Nest smoke alarm goes off. It works through the WIFI but you have to set it up first for it to do that.
@@postersm7141 hmmmm this was 1 year ago so i dont remember fully but i think the battery's were dead or something.... and yes im still using nest. i have a white nest protect and a black nest protect.
