I cleaned my lcp and i dry fired it with the slide off I had to send my brand new gun back to have them repair it. I know its my fault, but now lets see how it is when I get it back in a few days... So far disappointed....

Ruger's QC is absolute garbage... but once all the issues are resolved these are excellent pocket pistols. Mine has over 6k rounds through it at this point, runs great!

This was very helpful to me after watching videos showing how easy the slide works on LCPs. I am over 6' and am pretty strong but my new gun is almost impossible for me to rack. I will be contacting Rugar.

I have an LP120 and experienced this motor noise. I have concluded that the cause of this problem is poor earthing. I soldered a separate earth wire to the earthing braid for the tonearm at the point it is soldered to the control board. Then, I made sure that all the other earths were electrically connected to this earth. The wire was then attached to the e xternal phono preamp. The warbling motor noise was gone.

Put the laser max on it!! Hollow points are picky in most small pistols 😢

Mine was defective. Couldn't hit a target 4 ft away. Their mailing me 2 new recoil spring and a new guide pin. Hope this helps

Picked up one great deal on it, the ammo cost more.. Same issue, FTE. Cant break it in, cant get through a mag. Did manage to get 4 or 5 and the wife did a couple same issue. Using FMJ target rounds. Tried 3 different brands. Same issue. Called the store, they said theyll take it back, so thats what Im gonna do. Probably replace it with an M&P body guard. My wifes M&P EZ 380 has had zero issues and eats anything. So I think Ill spend the extra few dollars and go M&P Ruger has had more than a decade to fix this issue, and people still having problems, totally unacceptable, cant trust it, wont carry it. Agree the sights are awful, the trigger is just bad. I own a few Ruger rifles and the function fine, I wont buy another ruger pistol. Nope.

I Cary my LCP everyday. Never a failure! Only complaint is kinda snappy recoil.

Mine runs pretty well, I can't hit anything with it, but it runs pretty well. 🤣

I've had mine since they first came out. Never have had an issue with it and carry it both as primary and sometimes as backup. I do agree, having to buy Promags to get 10 or 15 round magazines is a bit rough, but they function well for me. I keep 2-15 and 2 10 in my day bag. and always 10 in a mag holder.

The Bluing job on my new 380 wasn't any good! The metal part of mine started Rusting. I had to disassemble the pistol and send them part that was Rusting to be Reblued.

I loved the LCP. However...I've had 2 different models, at different times, and both of them pinched my trigger finger, leaving a blood blister. I'm thinking on trying the new model with more mag capacity. ????? Need vs Want...such a tussel.

RUGER LCP SUCKS, had one will never have another one. Just jam after jam, sent mine back to RUGER they sent it back to me saying they fixed the problem but stil no matter what ammo I used in it jam after jam. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK, ONLY A FOOL WOULD BUY ONE!!!!!!!

Automatic pistols and hollow point ammo do not mix well. Period! A second FMJ round quickly following the first FMJ round solves any esoteric thoughts. US Army (retired)

My wife has owned an LCP for years. While I understand this little guy is pretty much a close quarters, point and click firearm. No real sights at all. But, at about 5yds. She seems to be able punch 1 hole groups! I don't know how...but, she does it.

This is my EDC and even use the pocket holster that came in the box and have had no issues, and I even polish my own feed ramp!

I have an old 1911 army 45 that won't run hollow points very good an it's the ramp that guides she'll into barrel but cycles ball ammo fine. I need a new barrel and the, I can't think of name that guide shell into barrel. It was 1st semi I ever had.

I haven’t changed the exhaust or anything I’ve kept mine completely stocked for now. How does it perform with the new exhaust before the ECU flash? I know it’s definitely gonna be lighter if you did a full exhaust because that catalytic converter is huge

I’ve got the same bike. Same color even. Absolutely love it. All things considered it’s almost “the perfect bike” in my opinion. But then I’m highly biased to 70s and 80s Kawasakis so of course I’ll think the stylings perfect. I have changed the exhaust and air filter on mine and will flash the ecu one of these days.
