- This couple just stole my heart. Robin Sparkles and Swarley live in my mind rent-free. Swarkles is just another level of class and love.
I adore their chaotic and childish personalities, and how they just really connect to each other on a whole other level. It's like they can find pieces of themselves in each other, and that's why it's so easy for them to understand each other.

Its the reason Barney was the right for her.
This is why Barney was the one for Robin, not Ted. Ted wanted to be with Robin in hopes that he can change her mind about marriage and having kids. Barney never care about that and just wanted Robin.
@@aethei8560 Exactly! Ted didn't love Robin, he loved an idealized version of her that he created in his head. Barney loved the real Robin. He loved the sides of her that Ted hated and wanted to change.

The first two seconds of robin in a green turtle neck was just so mesmerizing. It seemed to perfectly encapsulate how Barney saw Robin. I'm glad I've never watched the show in its entirety. I've seem many, many clips and I know what happened in the end but... I choose to believe they got married and stayed married.
If I may, I'd implore you to watch the show again in its entirety, not only can you truly understand the characters and therefore their respective relationship that much better, but the show is truly something special. The comedy, the heart - wrenching moments, I know people compare it to Friends and New Girl and other sitcoms, but as someone who is a connoisseur of sitcoms and have watched hundreds, I love this show with all my heart.
Also, you can watch until the second to last episode and just stop and watch the second ending on RUclips instead, it's an ending that was filmed alongside the original ending and included in the original Blu-ray version.
You should really watch the whole show, it's my personal favorite of all time and all the love stories are so cute and it's also hilarious I love it so much❤

You know what’s crazy, I decided to watch the show again, I'm in season 5 right now, and it's as if I'm reliving exactly the same thing, being a spectator of their friendship, hoping to see their love born etc. and now everything comes back to me it's as if my brain had made me forget the entire show to protect me everything comes back to me now and I can't help, i can’t stop crying. It's the most beautiful and saddest love story i never saw. I will never recover from the ending. It’s unfair and It doesn't make sense, it’s like they screwed the entire show, for nothing, it’s heartbreaking. 💔

I rewatched the show recently and didn't watch the last two episodes.
They had the most beautiful story
Tone of the many reasons I hate the ending, Ted meets the mother and stays happy but then in the end he realized he loves Robin (I feel I punching the wall) and barney and Robin were actually the best pair, equally broken and suffering.
The Showrunners should have called it “How I Met the Uterus I Needed until I could be with the Woman I REALLY Wanted!” Never a Ted and Robin fan!
😢Barney and Robin are forever in my heart, and it's a kind of romance that literally was created naturally, with natural writing, and it just shows how much they like each other because they're themselves, unlike Ted, who was obsessed with Robin, not in love with her, and hated the parts that Barney adored and didn't care about. Also, I'm going to say that Barney was much nicer than Ted, because Barney was broken, and Ted just used his loneliness to get laid, and to break up with women,

I was just rewatching himym and I realized that Barney is literally the best character in the show... He is a wonderful friend.. He got Lily to come back for Marshall.. Paid for their honeymoon.. God Marshall and Ted a very high paying job.. And they didn't even appreciate him... Constantly degrading their job and not even respecting it.. Even when he was about to loose his job

I have recently watched the whol show and the ending shook me. I overall loved the show and wished to rewatch it but after seeing the end i could never.
It just made no sense to put ted and robin together. Barney and robin had 100X more chemistry and fire.
The How I met your mother:
Step 1: Try to get the girl of your dreams let's call her "Robin" through an entire season
Step 2: Actually get her to marry you
Step 3: While secretly colluding with the feds get your ultimate revenge
Step 4: Pretend to fight in Argentina so badly that even your best friends will believe that "you broke up"
Step5: Continue to be married secretly even though your friends think you broke up
Step6: Have a beautiful baby girl together due to a miracle since Robin cant have kids but this time it happened!
Step7: Since happily ever after applies to you, you can now tell your friends that you have never broken up in the first place
